30 year old Manoj Purohit an assistant primary school teacher for the last seven odd years at a state government run educational institution in Shivpuri District committed suicide by imbibing a highly toxic and poisonous substance as he was unable to come to terms with the humiliation and depravity allegedly meted out to him by police sleuths on the fateful and eventful evening of October 30........
According to tearful and inconsolable family members Purohit was unceremoniously hauled off by the local police personnel who harboured a deep rooted grouse against him for having complained against their high handedness and immoral methods to the state human rights commission on charges of illegally gambling at a public place earlier in the day......
Manoj who also successfully helmed his own transportation venture in addition to his school teacher avatar loudly protested his innocence but his plaintive entreaties had little or no effect on the demons in khakhi who allegedly tortured; stripped and debased him by repeatedly making him lick their shoes according to family sources.......
He was so deeply embittered by the harrowing experience that he imbibed this yet to be identified poisonous substance within a couple of hours of returning from his area of confinement and was rushed to the nearest government run medical facility by alarmed and distraught family members who found him foaming from the mouth in the wee hours of October 31........
Purohit however succumbed to the deathly effects or then should I say the after effects of the life threatening substance in the wee hours of November 5 despite the doctors yeoman efforts to revive and resuscitate him.......
His irate; incensed and infuriated family members have demanded either a CBI enquiry or then a judicial enquiry conducted under the supervision of a sitting high court judge in order to identify the culprits and initiate punitive action against the very same; will the chief minister oblige that indeed is the million dollar or then rupee question.......
