In the latest gory and devilish such incident to hit the headlines; a 14 year old class IX student of a state government run educational institution was found dead under mysterious circumstances late on Sunday night at her modest middle class home in Karnal's (Haryana) Kunjpura locality........
According to highly placed police sources; concerned and conscientious neighbours informed them about the mortal remains of Renu (the deceased or then victim if you prefer calling her that) were discovered in the nondescript room that she shared with her younger sibling under the most mystifying and perturbing circumstances a little after 11:30 pm or so on the fateful and eventful Sunday night in question........
Police officials who reached the crime scene within ten or so minutes after being summoned/informed took stock of the prevailing situation/circumstances and began the due process of questioning/interrogating the seemingly/ supposedly grieving family members who served up or dished out a volley of answers that only served to arouse the men in khakhi's suspicions and investigative inclinations.......
According to one family member Renu had committed suicide by hanging herself with a stole as she was deeply perturbed and disturbed by her less than perfect test scores while another doled out the fact that she ended her life prematurely as she was dismayed by the scathing criticism meted out by her teachers about her repeated failures to pass her examinations with flying colours.......
Totally unconvinced and stupefied by the "true lies" pouring out of the mouths of the assembled family members and relatives; the cops resorted to the now customary method of despatching the corpse for the legally mandated and ordained post mortem/autopsy and their deepest apprehensions were proved beyond a shadow of doubt when the same threw up the irrefutable fact that the 14 year old had been throttled or then asphyxiated to death........
Intense/sustained and pain staking interrogations and extensively intrusive question and answer sessions have since become the order of the day within the departed soul's household as the Haryana cops have redoubled their efforts to unmask as well as apprehend the clueless and guileless Renu's tormentor and murderer.........
