One good turn definitely deserves another and the ailing external affairs minister Sushma Swaraj is being paid what she so richly deserves with renewed interest.......
Ms. Swaraj who was discharged from the much vaunted and celebrated Nephrology unit of AIIMS a couple of days or so ago has been inundated with offers from concerned citizens voluntarily and admirably offering their kidneys without expecting anything in return so that the much needed transplant that she requires can be expedited post haste......
Overwhelmed and humbled by the never ending offers Sushma ji took to her twitter handle to personally thank every lady and gent who had taken the time out to wish her a speedy and complete recovery and more significantly gallantly/chivalrously offered their own kidneys thereby giving the much needed fresh lease of life to the near extinct all pervasive humanitarian spirit that transcends all man made barriers........
Succinctly replying to the offer made by a Muslim gent (Mujib Ansari) who claimed to be an avid BSP supporter and carping critic of the BJP and yet stepped up to the plate and offered his kidney as he considered her to be the present day incarnate of the mother goddess who encompassed all her children without distinction in her all encompassing embrace Ms. Swaraj effusively thanked him for his sterling gesture and gushed that human organs and sublime feelings for other human beings are above all man made barriers of caste; creed and religion and must be allowed to remain that way for eternity........
One surely hopes and prays that these sage utterances and emulatory gestures once again rekindle the dying or then ebbing embers of the humanitarian spirit and give it a renewed lease of life......
