AGE IS NOTHING MORE THAN A MERE NUMBER........

Age is nothing more than just a number as far as the suave; debonair; delightful and dapper former Sri Lankan skipper Mahela Jayawardene is concerned........
Currently setting the pitches and television screens alight with his rapier like bat with this exemplary exploits for the much vaunted Dhaka Dynamos Bangladesh Premier League franchise; this batter par excellence is slated to fly out to the freezing climes of New Zealand as soon as the curtains are drawn on the ongoing BPL jamboree......
This legendary and epochal batsman will be donning the colours of the defending champions Central Stags in the forthcoming Kiwi domestic T 20 championships and will be prominently featuring in a minimum of eight games/fixtures for his chosen franchise if everything goes as envisaged.......
Whetting his lips in anticipation and looking forward to according a grand welcome to the living legend Stags skipper Pete De Wet reminded one and all of the indisputable fact that Mahela chruned out a whopping 249 runs at an astounding average of 62.25 in the four matches that he figured in last season........
His magnificent exploits with the bat have literally forced the team owner's and management's hand into renewing his contract at an undisclosed premium and the news that this second to none Sri Lankan lion will don the team colours in all the eight preliminary or then round robin fixtures as well as represent the franchise throughout the final stages of the tournament (provided the team qualifies for the final stages of the forthcoming tournament) has certainly sent the die hard and avowed Stags fans into raptures of unbridled delight and gaiety...........
All one can say in conclusion is that Mahela seems to have far more on his plate than he bargained for what with his much celebrated and anticipated exploits in various team colours as well as his newly donned avatar of the head/chief coach of the Indian Premier League Mumbai Indians franchise come circa April 2017.........
