In the latest instance of a youth committing a so called "mistake" (as Samajwadi Party Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav preferred to term the inhuman crime of "rape") a three year old girl was brutally raped and assaulted by a 17 year old youth in the Tharwaranganj area of Uttar Pradesh's Lakhimpur Kheri district late on Friday night..........
According to the FIR lodged by the distraught parents of the young girl at the local police thana on Saturday morning, the girl was playing outside her humble dwelling all by herself when the 17 year old youth happened upon the spot and lured her away to a secluded and isolated spot where he firstly slapped her in an effort to subdue her and then forced himself upon her more than once..........
An FIR under sections 376 (rape), 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and 3/4 of the POSCO Act has been lodged against the 17 year old accused who still continues to remain at large.........
According to senior police officials three teams have been duly constituted with the express purpose of nabbing the alleged rapist at the earliest; in the interim, highly incensed and long suffering locals gathered at the city centre in umbers, forced all shopkeepers in the area to down their shutters and staged a dharna for well over two hours before the local police chowki demanding the immediate arrest of the rapist who had made good his escape..........
Matters that threatened to go out of hand were only addressed and assuaged when senior police officials rushed to the spot, pacified agitated locals and held out repeated assurances about arresting the accused within a 72 hour time frame........
Will the beleaguered and severely compromised police force fulfil it's promise or assurance or will the accused youth be allowed to get away as he has just committed a "mistake" and youths are prone to committing such mistakes because of their raging hormones and libidos; let's all wait and watch..........

VISUALLY IMPAIRED STUDENT SCORES 88.6% IN CBSE CLASS XII EXAMINATIONS.......

The sky is certainly the limit if one wills it and then sets about fulfilling one's dreams or visions with all the force at one's command, don't believe me then ask Prakhar Srivastav, a visually impaired student who scored 88.6% marks in his class 12 examinations.........
Yes you did certainly read it right, Prakhar Srivastav, a class 12 student of Dehradun's Model School, National Institute for the Visually Handicapped (NIVH0 has done both himself and his school proud by not only aceing the examinations but by also securing a 88.6% percentile aggregate in all the papers for which he appeared.........
A grand total of 25 visually impaired students had appeared for the CBSE class XII board examinations in the humanities stream, while Prakhar Srivastav topped his class, his friend and soul mate, Sandeep Yadav who originally hails from Azamgarh aggregated 88% and stood a creditable second, while Kanpur's Mayank Pande aggregated 87.6% and emerged a noteworthy third in the same class of achievers.........
Elated by his success, Prakhar now plans to take up a bachelor of arts (BA) course in a prestigious Dehradun College and appear for the Civil Services Examinations in the not too distant future, "several visually impaired students have cleared the challenging civil services examinations with flying colours and I aim to do the same", Prakhar triumphantly declares.........
An elated though somewhat exhausted Principal of the School Kulbeer Singh said that the school had always achieved cent per cent results ever since it came into existence and the results this year too only reinforce the school's claim to being a centre of excellence.........
"23 out of our 25 students scored more than 70% in the class XII CBSE examinations, while student numbers 24 and 25 scored more than 60 and 50 per cent marks respectively, our school (Model School) houses visullay impaired students who come from all nooks and crannies of this great country, we not only educate our wards but also provide them with absolutely free education, boarding and lodging", Singh proudly points out...........

19 YEAR OLD NAJAFGARH RESIDENT ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH EXTORTION RACKET........

As if umpteen cases of rape and other serious crime involving teenagers were not enough of an eye opener and cause of concern; here comes along yet another case of extortion involving a 19 year old in the role of the main protagonist.........
A 19 year old Najafgfarh (locality on the outskirts of the national capital) and his male accomplice meticulously planned and carried out an extortion racketagainst/on a reputed doctor associated with the national capital's prestigious Sir Ganga Ram Hospital.........
Drawing inspiration from a score of South Indian and English films with the same subject matter, Dheeraj Bharadwaj and his juvenile accomplice proceeded to click a series of photographs of the doctor and his family members both at work and while in repose at their residence........
The duo then proceeded to mail copies of these photographs to the doctor's residence in a nondescript envelope and followed up this daring act with a telephone call demanding "protection" money to the tune of 10 lakh rupees..........
Mafia Don Salim was the assumed identity of the caller who called up the doctor's Prasad Nagar residence until late Wednesday night when his luck finally ran out and he was ensnared by alert sleuths who had since abounded the Najafgarh area..........
Delhi police personnel got involved in this sordid episode when they received a complaint from the said doctor about his receiving an envelope containing numerous photographs of both himself as well as his family members..........
Incessant calls demanding a sum of Rs. 10 lakh as protection money from one self styled mafia don Salim soon became the order of the day for the harried doctor and his family members and what was even more worrisome was the fact that this so called Mafia Don would bump off the doctor and his family me,members one by one if his monetary demands were not met within the stipulated period of time..........
In order to avoid detention and detection the diabolic duo would take turns to make periodic calls to the doctor's residence from various PCO's located in and around the Najafgarh area, but their luck ran out when an alert police sleuth overheard them making one such call and proceeded to nab them in the company of his compatriots.........
An ex student of the IIT in Bahadurgarh Dheeraj could not secure a job commensurate with his educational qualifications and resorted to this desperate and unlawful measure in the company of his more than willing accomplice in order to alleviate the financial difficulties being faced by his family as a result of his joblessness..........

50 Year Old Man Arrested on charges of continually raping 14 year old Minor..........

Noted sociologist and racconteur Rajni Kothari who once made the immortal remark about a woman being the worst enemy of another specimen from the same species must be chuckling away to glory in heaven what with legally married wives helping their husbands in their sexual escapades of the vilest kinds with minors.........
Morena (Madhya Pradesh) Police on Thursday unearthed a sordid and bestial sexual exploitation racket within the district wherein a 50 year old man and his 45 wife year old legally married wife were apprehended or rather arrested on charges of continually sexually exploiting a 14 year old minor over a period extending a little over three months.........
This sorry and tragic episode only came to light when the parents of the 14 year old minor noticed the young girl's rapidly protruding stomach that seemed to have a will of it's own; on being repeatedly questioned by her mother the young girl broke down and spilled the beans about the monstroities being committed on her by the soulless couple........
Her parents then rushed the girl to a nearby maternity home where tests carried out on the 14 year old conclusively established the fact that she was a little over three months pregnant........
The young girl's nightmarish ordeal began a little over three months ago in Morena town's Ganeshpur Mohalla when 50 year old Pappu Kawadia lured the gullible and nubile young girl into the confines of his bedroom or then should I say boudoir on the pretext of offering her sweets; so what is unusual or unique about this case one may might well ask????well what makes this case unique in it's own right is the fact that the accused's wife 45 year old Ameena was a more than willing accomplice in this gory episode.........
They have since been booked under the prevailing rape as well as Prevention of Children against Sexual Offences Act and are currently pondering over their ultimate fate in judicial custody..........
According to the victim's statement, Pappu who was known both to the victim as well as her family led her to his modest home on the pretext of offering her sweets and soon managed to ensnare her in his bedroom, his wife then proceeded to lock all the doors and windows of the bedroom and even held the victim down while her husband forced himself upon her in the most barbaric and animalistic manner..........
They then threatened the girl with dire consequences and even held out the implied threat about chopping her into small pieces if she as much as breathed a word to a third person about her pitiable predicament.......
Incessant and continual rapes and beatings became the order of the day and she was only able to conjure up the last vestiges of courage and confide in her sorrowful parents when they started questioning her about her unusually protuberant stomach.........
In the meanwhile, the hapless young woman's parents are seeking out all avenues and sources pertaining to the medical termination of their minor daughter's pregnancy as they are worried about the tags that a so called "civised" society could affix on her forehead about her being an unmarried mother and so on and so forth............
And that is how the cookie crumbles in a significant majority of cases of this kind........

17 YEAR OLD MINOR RAPES 10 YEAR OLD GIRL IN NATIONAL CAPITAL.........

Thanks to bleeding hearts and self styled protectors and benefactors, marauding minors are making the best use of the protection and freedom accorded to them and raping ten (10) year old girls as and when they deem fit.........
In the latest instance of rape involving two minors, a 10 year old girl child was brutally sexually assaulted by her 17 year old neighbour within the narrow and cloistered confines of a servant quarter located on the national capital's ultra posh Pandara Road on Monday evening.........
According to the victim's grandmother the victim was alone at home as her mother who happens to be a nurse by profession was away at work, the 17 year old neighbour who is well known to the victim's family came over to their humble abode and requested the naive and gullible ten year old girl to hop into his house and play carrom with him and the trusting ten year old readily agreed to his proposal............
Little did the innocent girl know that her "friendly" neighbour who stepped into their modest dwelling at around 5:30 pm or so on the fateful evening had anything but carrom on his devious and warped mind; as he proceeded to soundly thrash the young girl and savagely violate her as soon as he set foot into his hearth and haven........
He then let the wounded and distraught girl to leave the spot where she was ravaged but not before threatening her with dire consequences if she as much as let out a whimper about the sordid fate that had befallen her; the bodily wounded and mentally scarred girl found her way home and confided in her grandmother who then rang up her mother and ordered her to reach home at once........
But the hospital authorities did not accede to the victim's mother's request and she only managed to reach home at her assigned hour of 10 pm upon which she was confronted with the heart rending spectacle of her ravaged and inconsolable daughter who somehow managed to accompany her mother to the neighbouring police station and narrate her tale of woe before the men in khakhi........
As per laid down procedure, the cops rushed the victim to the government run Lady Hardinge Medical College where the doctors confirmed the incidence of rape after minutely examining the injuries inflicted by the absconding rapist on the 10 year old girl's lips, face, private parts and other parts of her torso........
The victim was asked to stay overnight for observation and only discharged on Tuesday afternoon but what has compounded matters is that the traumatised girl has simply refused all kinds/forms of nourishment and is constantly moaning while complaining about a persistent ache or then acute pain in her nether regions........
In the meanwhile, the accused who used to reside with a woman whom he referred to as his aunt has reportedly gone missing from the precincts of the said colony and is yet to be traced by the two police teams who are supposedly hot on his trail..........
While I do humbly accept the fact that one swallow does not make a summer, the sum total of all the parts (thousands of rape cases) involving minors do more than warrant a rethink on the existing laws that provide all rapists below the age of 18 some sort of an inducement to commit this brutal crime against humanity as the penalty envisaged for the crime under the existing laws is little more than a cruel and heinous joke on the victim and her sorrowing family..........

What is it with Indian men or more specifically New Delhi based men that they are willing to go to any lengths and even break existing laws as long as they can satisfy their sexual urges and boast about their so called conquests amongst their peers and fellows........
In the latest instance of boorish, loutish and obnoxious behaviour reported from the national capital, a yet to be identified man made a furtive/futile attempt to bundle an Afghan woman into his car and even brutally assaulted her husband during the course of the very same failed effort......
This incident was reported from the national capital's bustling and sprawling Lajpat Nagar Area at around 11:30 pm or so on Tuesday night and occurred when the unidentified gent who was firmly ensconed behind the steering of his Wagon R came across Mohammedf Kais and Ajiza who were returning after purchasing medicines from a chemist's shop and stopped his car on the pretext of seeking directions from the couple........
Lo and behold, the enterprising or then should I say devilish, devious and diabolic gent was soon asking Ajiza to get into his car and show him the way to his stated destination and when Mohammed Kais registered his vociferous protest at this wild and wanton behaviour he was showered with a volley of punches and kicks that left him shaken and bewildered........
Local residents rushed to the spot on hearing the sounds of an altercation and the gent in the Wagon R made good his escape from the spot, but nor before he had successfully snatched away a deeply disturbed Ajiza's purse/handbag that contained her passport, mobile phone, 800 USD as well as Rs. 4,500/- in cash........
A case has been registered under sections 392 (robbery) and 365 (attempt to abduct) against the unidentified gent and the area police is minutely scrutinising the footage obtained from CCTV's strategically positioned in the vicinity in an effort to identify or then establish the identity of the elusive man in the Wagon R.......
Senior police officials have also requested any person or persons who know or recognise the absconding assaulter to join their investigations and shed light on the identity of this ,mysterious attacker.........

HUSBAND MURDERS WIFE AS SHE FAILS TO SERVE HIM HIS LUNCH ON TIME........

Impatience and a growing tendency to put the needs of self above all else caused the untimely and hideous demise of a 20 year old married woman in a typical middle class New Delhi locality on Tuesday afternoon.......
What was her crime, one may do well to ask??? well, she committed the seemingly cardinal and unpardonable crime of not serving her 25 year old husband his lunch as soon as he demanded the same on the fateful afternoon.........
According to a neighbour and one of the first people to arrive on the crime scene, Gautam (the 25 year old perpetrator or accused) arrived at his Seemapuri residence at around 1:20 pm or so on Tuesday afternoon as he almost always did........
But this time around things were far from usual as sounds of a heated argument and scuffle began emanating from the house in question a few minutes after Gautam's arrival on the scene; these sounds soon reached a crescendo as Manju began screaming for help at the top of her voice......
"Unduly alarmed by Manju's cries for help, me my brother and good friend (another neighbour) rushed to her aid but were shocked out of our wits when we were confronted with the gory spectacle of Gautam dragging a bloodied and grievously injured Manju towards their balcony and we managed to catch hold of Gautam while he was about to hoist Manju's bloodied body onto his shoulders and cart her dowsn from the said balcony"..........
"I immediately rushed Manju to the nearby Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital (GTB Hospital) where the doctors who attended on her declared her brought dead on arrival while my brother, good friend and a few other neighbours who had arrived on the scene by now restrained Gautam until the police personnel from the neighbouring police station made their appearance and whisked him away", the sobbing and distressed neighbour concludes..........
According to the investigating officer, Gautam has confessed to his crime and given a statement to the police saying that he turned on his wife of a few months as she had not finished preparing his lunch before his arrival," I initially began slapping and punching her, but then picked up a knife and stabbed her numerous times and only came to my senses when I found her lying on the floor in a rapidly spreading pool of her own blood after which I dragged her towards the balcony and also made a fruitless effort to disguise my crime by giving it the appearance of a suicide by carting my grievously injured wife's body down from out third floor balcony", Gautam said in his confessional statement or declaration..........
Police have recovered the murder weapon from the crime scene and registered a case of cold blooded murder against Gautam who is currently cooling his heels in a police lock up under all relevant and applicable sections of the Indian Penal Code........
Is a slightly delayed lunch cause enough to take the life of your legally married wife of a few months and is this case fit enough for the application of the death penalty on the perpetrator; well I will let you arrive at your own conclusions.........

5 ROGUE COPS TORTURE 30 YEAR OLD MAN TO DEATH........

A police force that claims to be "with the residents and for the resident's" of this glorious countries capital city certainly seems to be leaving no stone unturned in it's effort to set new benchmarks in bestiality, boorishness, brutality and torture........
In the latest instance of unprovoked police brutality, five men from the Delhi Police ranks abducted a 30 year old man, forcibly took him to a secluded and isolated barrack in the Bindapur area of the capital and then proceeded to brutalise (thrash) him to death in a manner unbecoming of supposedly "civilised" human beings.........
The five rogue cops who have since been identified as head constable Bhoop Singh and constables Rajesh, Sudeep, Utam and Arvind have since been arrested and charged with murder and abduction under the applicable and relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code.......
Manoj Kumar (the deceased or then victim depending on whatever you choose to call him) owned a small travel agency in the national capital's Uttam Nagar locality and was a small time boxer who used to participate in local tournaments in addition to his entrepreneurial avatar......
He (Manoj Kumar) was married a little over a year ago and was the proud father of a bonny and strapping seven month old son, his wife and son had proceeded to her parents house in Lucknow and Manoj who was residing along with his aged parents in Uttam Nagar was supposed to proceed to Lucknow on Wednesday and bring them back.......
This idyllic, peaceful and tranquil world was shattered forever at about 10 am on Monday morning when the five cops happened upon the family's dwelling and picked up Manoj for questioning in connection with celebratory firing from a revolver during the course of a friend's wedding a few days back/ago.........
Manoj continued to plead ignorance about the said incident and steadfastly refused to accompany the five rogue cops to the Bindapur police station for questioning but the five cops soon managed to overpower him and unceremoniously bundle him into the confines of a car that was strategically positioned outside Manoj's residence following which his harrowed parents proceeded to register a case of abduction against the five accused cops at the Uttam Nagar Police Station........
Investigating police officers have revealed the fact that Manoj was illegally detained in a barrack in the Bindapur area and mercilessly thrashed by his abductors which caused grievous injuries that led to his death; the investigators received a call at around 1 pm from the DDU hospital authorities informing them about a group of men callously abandoning a body within their hospital premises and fleeing from the spot a few minutes earlier..........
Police personnel belonging to the Utam Nagar Police station made a beeline towards the said spot within a matter of a few minutes and then proceeded to call up Manoj's harried father after retrieving his number from his deceased son's mobile phone and requested him to come and identify a body that could possibly be that of his missing son's.......
In the interim, a police team that was intensely tracing the whereabouts of the five missing cops from the Bindapur police station hit upon the information pertaining to the five cops being seen in the vicinity of the DDU hospital in the company of a body which they had proceeded to dump in the hospital premises; CCTV footage obtained from the camera stationed or positioned at the hospital's gate conclusively revealed the fact that the five missing cops were the men in the picture and the body that they had unceremoniously dumped was none other than Manoj Kumar's.........
The five missing cops were soon arrested within a matter of a couple of hours, subjected to relentless and detailed questioning under which they broke down and confessed to their sinister and brutal crime.........

SCHEMING HUSBAND THROTTLES WIFE AND TWO DAUGHTERS TO DEATH........

Have committed and hard work, dedication, grit, and perseverance become irrelevant or then has today's young man found a much easier and efficacious way of meeting his incessant hunger for material wealth that is by making exorbitant unreasonable dowry demands from the parents of his supposedly better half.........
Socially sanctioned (almost all sections of our so called "civilised" society sanction it by one name or the other) evil of dowry claimed it's latest three victims with a 30 year old man (Amit Kumar) strangling his 28 year old wife and two daughters (including an infant) to death at his Noida Phase-II residence on Monday morning.........
What was their crime?????they failed to meet; or more precisely the 28 year old woman's parents failed to meet Amit Kumar and his parent's incessant and relentless demands for a swanking new car as well as a few lakhs in cash........
Amit Kumar who is gainfully employed as a mid level executive in a private firm strangled his lawfully wedded wife of three years Shalu (28) and two daughters Tanu (18 months) and Manu (6 months) to death in a seemingly cold blooded, meticulously planned and heinous manner early Monday morning as Shalu's parents had failed to meet the dowry demands of Amit and his family for the last three and a bit years.......
According to shocked and dismayed neighbours who informed the local police that Shalu as well as her two daughters seemed to be lying in an unconscious state on the floor of their bedroom at around 9 am on Monday morning; Amit and his parents used to torture Shalu on a daily basis and constantly berate her for having borne two daughters and thereby added to their financial burdens.........
Police personnel rushed to the spot and shifted Shalu and her two daughters to a nearby private hospital where they were declared brought dead on arrival by the doctors who attended on them; a post mortem that was carried out on the hapless trio later on the same day attributed their premature and untimely deaths to strangulation..........
Subsequent questioning of the neighbours as well as Shalu's family members threw up or shed light on the fact that Shalu was being constantly harangued for increased dowry by Amit and his parents and the neighbours informed the police about Shalu and her two daughters as they found lying absolutely still on the floor of their bedroom while Amit and his parents were away.........
The senior investigating officer then tried his level best to establish contact with both Amit as well as his parents on their respective cell phones but his concerted efforts came to naught as their cell phones were constantly switched off, a few of Amit's family members have since been taken into custody for questioning but Amit and his parents still continue to elude their pursuers.........
Cases of murder, physical torture, harassment and so on and so forth have been booked against Amit and his parents at the Noida sector-II police station and a massive manhunt has been launched in order to apprehend them at the earliest..........
Which brings us back to the question whether a swanking new car and a few lakh rupees are more valuable than three precious lives that were yet to blossom and experience life in all it's resplendent colours.........

25 YEAR OLD NORTH EASTERN STUDENT WARDS OFF ASSAILANT.........

Here comes welcome news about the shoe being on the other foot, after being at the receiving end for all these months and years, women from the North Eastern parts of Mother India have begun accosting their wannabe molesters and rapists and even begun paying them back in the same coin.........
A Delhi University student hailing from a North Eastern State was unceremoniously molested by an outsider within the precincts of the famed North Campus on Friday morning, but this time around, the assailant rather than the victim was at the receiving end for a change.........
Jagdish, a long time resident of the national capital's Outer Narela region had surreptitiously made his way inside the hallowed North Campus at around 10:30 am or so on the fateful Friday morning and had just about laid his hands around sensitive or rather private parts of the victim's anatomy when he discovered that the victim was not going to take this dastardly behaviour lying down........
Jagdish firstly made his way towards the unsuspecting victim and extended his hand towards her on the pretext of shaking hands with her but then proceeded to grab her and even forcibly tried to subdue and kiss the victim on her face........
To his considerable misfortune, the victim proved to be made of sterner stuff, she not only managed to ward off his unwelcome overtures by pushing him away but also raised the alarm by shouting out in a loud and distressed voice........
Not only this, she also managed to successfully chase down a startled and chastened Jagdish who had taken to his heels by now, she latched on to his collar and managed to keep her hold on the same until security men and fellow male students came to her aid, roughed up Jagdish and subsequently handed him over to the Delhi Police personnel.......
A case of molestation and sexual harassment has since been registered against the accused (Jagdish) under sections 354 and 354 A of the Indian Penal Code and he is currently cooling both his heels and ardour in a Delhi jail where he has been confined since Saturday afternoon........
All one would like to ask the assailants and wannabe rapists is how does it feel when the shoe is on the other foot, i.e how does it feel to be at the receiving end for a welcome and wholly necessary change.......

Dear Ms. Shazia Ilmi,
One did learn of your decision to sever all ties with the fledgling Aam Aadmi Party citing the absence of inner party democracy and the emergence of a "crony coterie" amongst other things and while one does not deny your right to do as you deem fit, one wonders whether you have taken the right decision at the right time.........
Madam, both you and Captain Gopinath deplored Shri Arvind Kejriwal's so called "jail politics" but do you also deny the fact that hundreds of young men belonging to the economically deprived sections of society are languishing in various jails throughout the country simply because they are unable to pay the exorbitant sums fixed as bail bonds and Arvind Kejriwal's "jail Yatra' is an earnest attempt to highlight the pitiable plight of such people and not to score "political brownie points" as you allege.......
One has always heard of the adage about victory having many fathers and defeat being an orphan and you have indeed proved the dictum right; every Aam Aadmi Party activist was more than aware of the fact that you were sulking ever since the powers that be within the party denied you a parliamentary constituency in the national capital as you had lost the assembly elections from the R.K. Puram constituency albeit by a narrow margin...........
You of all people must know that it is practically impossible to allot every candidate with a seat of his/her choice by virtue of having been associated with the media for long years and having covered many an election during your your media stint; yet you continued to persist with your nocturnal tendency of having your cake and eating it too.........
You are not the only person to have been associated with the party since the day of it's inception, thousands of other people like yours truly have been associated with the party in both in it's Aam Aadmi as well as India Against Corruption Avatar for the last four years and more but have not hankered after personal power and position like you; you lament about the "crony coterie" going against the laid down party line on a plethora of issues and carving their own path; pray tell me what were you doing while hobnobbing with rabidly communal elements and drumming up their support for your Ghaziabad adventure; was your behaviour in consonance with the laid down party line which places all religions on the same platter and expressly prohibits using religion as a medium for personal aggrandisement.........
People who live in glass houses should never throw stones at others and you have only brought disdain, ridicule and contempt with your decision to quit the fledgling party when it needs to be strengthened and reinforced in order to ensure that it continues to wage it's relentless war against corruption, graft, greed, avarice and enriching oneself at the cost of crores of deserving others and pray doe enlighten on me on the difference by you, your political adversary General V.K. Singh and a certain Ms. Kiran Bedi who deserted the movement against corruption and graft in the search of greener and far more enriching political pastures.........
Ms. Ilmi all one can say in conclusion is that the loss is entirely yours and certainly not the Aam Aadmi Party's; a party that provided you with a ready and available platform to carve out your own niche amongst the wider scheme of things rather than being a part of the gaggle like is the practice in every other two bit political party that you aspire to associate yourself with........

DELHI LAWYER TURNS SEXUAL PREDATOR.........

Women or more specifically young women hailing from the North Eastern Parts of Mother India continually seem to be bearing the brunt of the national capital's sexual predators who have almost become a law unto themselves........
Matters pertaining to sexual piccadilloes and advances seemed to boil over when a 29 year old Naga woman was crudely fondled, groped and molested by a lawyer outside the VIshwa VIdyalaya metro station late on Thursday night.........
As if the sexual assault was not enough, things or rather matters came to an ugly and heinous head on Firday afternoon when heated arguments and fisticuffs broke out between a group of lawyers who were shouting slogans in favour of the accused lawyer and friends of the victim who has come to lend her moral support in her quest for justice........
These unsavoury incidents broke out in full public view just outside the gates of the national capital's Tees Hazari Courts when the 29 year old Naga woman was making her way towards the concerned judge's chambers/courtroom to depose against the accused lawyer one Inder Narayan in the company of a few friends and well wishers........
Local police authorities have since booked a separate case against the accused lawyer and his unruly supporters while the 29 year old woman and scores of other women hailing from the North Eastern states staged a silent protest outside the said metro station demanding justice and increased security.............
This latest episode of a sexual atrocity being committed against a young (North Eastern) woman took place at around 11 pm on Thursday night when the young victim was returning from her office in central Delhi and awaiting a bus to her destination at the bus stop adjoining the Vishwa Vidyalaya Metro Station..........
The lady was taken by utter shock and consternation when the accused Inder Narayan happened upon her and proceeded to grope and fondle certain sensitive parts of her anatomy and even proceeded to slap her when she warded off his advances and registered her protest against this wild and wanton behaviour............
Keeping her wits about her and holding onto the last vestiges of her rapidly receding reserves of courage the traumatised woman began shouting for help at the top of her voice and her screams bore fruit as as a few concerned locals laid their hands on the accused lawyer, beat him up and then proceeded to hand him over to the local police.........
One only hopes and prays that this sexual predator who is supposed to be a soldier of the law and it's upholder gets his just desserts with the full force of the law being brought down upon him, I for one wish that the concerned judge throws the book at him and sends him to jail for a period long enough for him to introspect and make him realise the error of his ways............
A resounding message needs to go out about this being the last such instance of this kind, women have put up with this nonsense for too long and the time is right to give it back with twice the force..........

SHAZIA ILMI TO QUIT AAM AADMI PARTY?????

With Arvind Kejriwal cooling his heels in the national capital's Tihar Jail for the next two weeks and speculation being rife about one of it's founding members Shazia Ilmi making up her mind about quitting the fledgling party with immediate effect, the perils of doom surely seem to be looming large over the AAP.........
Though the party's official spokesperson, former news channel editor Ashutosh has gone red in the face denying all stories emanating in various sections of the media about former news anchor and media personality Shazia Ilmi quitting the rank and file of the party, sources close to Ms. Ilmi have indeed confirmed the fact that she has been displeased with the functioning of the party for some time and has made up her mind about quitting the party as she has been displeased with the party leadership for some time.........
Yes nobody is indispensable, but Ms. Ilmi's quitting the party will indeed create a huge vacuum at the top as Shazia Ilmi was always seen as the suave, educated, urbane and sophisticated face of the party and also as a person capable of helping the party build bridges with the minorities.......
Whispers were being heard about Shazia's growing irritability and disenchantment with Messrs Kejriwal, Vishwas, Yadav, Ashutosh and Rai as Shazia felt that these few people were taking crucial and far reaching decisions unilaterally without taking other founder members of the party into confidence and making an effort to thrust their decisions down the throats of the other founder members of the party and it's thousands of volunteers.........
The proverbial straw that broke the camel's back came in the manner in which the party bigwigs went about courting arrest after Arvind Kejriwal was arrested after he refused to sign a bail bond in the defamation case filed by him against one Nitin Gadkari, according to a Shazia confidante Shazia was fuming ever since she saw the sorry spectacle being enacted in full view of the media's cameras as she was of the informed opinion that these high pitched campaigns had lost their allure and meaning and were being seen as nothing more than mere dramas and gimmicks to remain politically relevant by a party that was slowly but surely loosing public support by the thousands..........
Whatever may be the reasons for Shazia's displeasure and vexation, I as a life long member and well wisher of the only party that espouses causes that really matter to the long abused and neglected common man hope and pray that the other founding members of the party take Shazia's considerations and complaints on board while extending the olive branch to a vexed Shazia and bring her back on board.........
This constant washing of dirty linen in public and using media platforms to vent one's anger and spew venom at others with whom you don't see eye to eye is only serving to erode the credibility of the party in the heart and soul of the Aam Aadmi and reducing it to both a laughing stock as well as object of ridicule.........

AAM AADMI PARTY FULFILS YET ANOTHER ELECTORAL PROMISE.......

Trust the much maligned, castigated and berated Aam Aadmi party to put it's meagre money where it's mouth is and keep up it's promises about empowering the common man and making him an integral part of the governance structure.........
Despite one of it's most prominent leaders namely Shri Arvind Kejriwal being imprisoned, the 27 legislators of the party of the common man will begin implementing the party's version of the mohalla sabha to take decisions regarding the spending of the Rs. 4 crore that has become available to every legislator under the MLA local area development scheme following the Lieutenant Governor's decision to de-freeze these funds with immediate effect..........
All 27 AAP legislators held a meeting with the party bigwigs at Shri Arvind Kejriwal's residence on Wednesday and sought direction regarding the spending of this fund in a manner that will benefit the highest possible number of residents in each constituency........
During the course of the meeting, it was decided that the legislators will go back to their respective constituencies and seek the valuable inputs of the residents of the area as they and only they would be the best judges on local issues pertaining to the laying of drains, roads, schools, street lights and parks in their respective localities........
Once the much desired feedback is received, each AAP legislator will then draw up a blue print regarding the allocation of funds to the most urgent works that need to be taken up on a priority basis and the timely and expeditious completion of all such taken up projects in each area under their command........
As the AAP government in Delhi was short lived and wound up within a mere 49 days on a matter of principle, the party of the common man was unable to unleash it's model of "swaraj" or self rule and empower the residents of a specific area to take the final call on projects that needed to be initiated in their mohallas without any further delays........
What adds further urgency to the immediate initiation or then introduction of these works and their expeditious completion is the fact that fresh elections are slated to be held in the national capital any time between September and December 2014 and hence it becomes all that more necessary to complete these works post haste as elections to the Delhi Assembly are slated to be held any time between September and December 2014 and also because the election code of conduct will kick in as soon as the Election Commission makes an announcement regarding the election dates........
And people still continue to wonder why the AAM AADMI Party and governments helmed by it are conspicuously different from or then heads and shoulders above the rest of the lot......

CELEBRATED AUTHOR RUSKIN BOND CELEBRATES 80TH BIRTHDAY IN GRAND STYLE........

A significant majority of us tend to wither away with the passage of father time, while only a very few of us tend to buck this trend and actually better ourselves as time goes on.......
Celebrated writer, conservationist and sometime poet Ruskin Bond is one such person who has only gotten better with the passage of time and the Padma Bhushan Awardee marked his 80th birthday in grand style in thequeen of hill stations Mussoorie by launching two more books on Monday.........
Flanked by scores/legions of his fawning and doting young fans Mr. Bond released his two latest tour de forces "Jungle Omnibus" and "Love Among The Bookshelves" at an idyllic book store strategically located on MUssoorie's iconic Mall Road.........
Local legislator Ganesh Joshi, chairman of the Mussoorie municipal Board, Manmohan Singh Mall and well known author Ganesh Saili also took the time out to grace the occasion and extend their best wishes to Mr. Bond on a life well spent........
One may do well to remember the fact that Ruskin Bond has been a resident of Mussoorie since 1963 and almost all of his novels, short stories, anthologies of poems and other works have been written in the tranquil and serene surroundings of the same........
An otherwise recalcitrant and reserved Mr. Bond had more than amply shown his firebrand and conservationist side during the late 1970's/early 1980's when limestone quarrying by unscrupulous elements had seriously threatened to scar the green cover of this area permanently; Mr. Bond had directly approached the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi after his entreaties to the local power centres fell on deaf ears and made sure of the fact that limestone quarrying soon became a thing from the past........
Mr. Ruskin Bond was bestowed with the Sahitya Akademi Award for his collection of short stories entitled "Our Trees Still Grow In Dehra" in the year 1992 and was conferred with the Padma Shri in 1999, with the Padma Bhushan being awarded to him earlier this year being the crowning glory of his noteworthy and exemplary literary achievements..........

BELEAGUERED SRINIVASAN KNOCKS ON THE DOORS OF THE SUPREME COURT.......

A few of us never ever seem to learn, what else can say about one Mr. Narayanswamy Srinivasan who moved the apex court on Wednesday seeking a modification or then considerable dilution of it's orders disqualifying him from discharging his duties as the BCCI president........
Srinivasan has moved the apex court through his legal counsel seeking a watering down of the court's orders dated March 28 and May 16 which expressly prohibit him from discharging his assigned duties as BCCI president until the case comes up for hearing next in the month of September 2014.........
In his application Srinivasan implored or then pleaded with the court to suitably amend it's orders passed on March 28 and May 16 2014 to the extent that they enable him to discharge his daily functions as the President of the BCCI in so far as all non IPL related matters are concerned.........
Srinivasan also added that he was re-elected as the BCCI President with an overwhelming majority in the AGM held way back in September 2013 and that his tenure as the BCCI president would pass by or elapse without him discharging his due responsibilities unless the court modified it's orders and accorded him the liberty to do the same........
He also pointed out or alluded to the fact that the strictures/orders passed against him by the Supreme Court had caused him considerable distress, led to/.caused the erosion of a tremendous amount of goodwill enjoyed by him amongst his fellow board members and last but not the least caused him to become an object of derision and ridicule in the eyes of the common man who was prone to equating or then associating him with the IPL match and spot fixing imbroglios.........
Clearly stating that he has no objection whatsoever to Shri Sunil Manohar Gavaskar's continuance as the IPL Chairman as long as the apex court desired or deemed it fit, Srinivasan maintained that he was supremely confident of emerging unscathed from the serious and damaging allegations levelled against him about being a part of the syndicate that betted on and spot fixed IPL matches as he had submitted a strong defence based on merit and also because that there was no evidence whatsoever to either prove or uphold his involvement in the unsavoury IPL spot and match fixing scandal........
According to the review petition filed by his legal counsel, the concerned court was doing Srinivasan a huge disservice as it had not passed similar strictures or orders against the players named in the report submitted by the Justice Mukul Mudgal committee so why then is he and only he being singled out for special treatment.........
As things stand at the present moment, it will be known later today if the apex court finds merit in Srinivasan's petition and deems it worthy of it's consideration or then dismisses it from it's presence with the utter contempt that it deserves; the fact of the matter being that Srinivasan sees the gilt edged opportunity of being the ICC"s first ever Chairman slipping out of his hands and hence the review petition and crocodile tears of supposed redemption and contrition.........

25 YEAR OLD MAN HELD ON CHARGES OF SODOMISING 7 YEAR OLD BOY........

The more so called progress we make, the more perverted and perverse we tend to become, what with a significant majority of us displaying a remarkable penchant or propensity to engage in unnatural and demeaning sexual acts even though the same can land us behind bars.......
A 25 year old Deonar resident (near Mumbai) has been arrested by the local police personnel on Tuesday afternoon on the grave charges of sodomising a 7 year old boy in a public toilet earlier on the same day......
The 7 year old victim who managed to flee from the scene of his shame and depravity with the greatest difficulty rushed home and narrated his tale of woe to his utterly disbelieving father who somehow managed to keep both his wits as well as sanity around him and file a complaint in a neighbouring police station.........
To their credit, the local police swung into action with remarkable alacrity and ,managed to ensnare the 25 year old accused from the local bus station where he was trying to board a bus bound for Pune..........
According to the FIR registered in the case, both the accused as well as the victim are residents of the town's New Gautam Nagar Area and the respective families have been acquainted with each other for years.......
Cases of abduction, indulging in unnatural sexual acts as well as rape have been booked against the accused and he has been confined to five days of police custody by the concerned legal authority.........

SCHOOL AUTHORITIES CALLOUSNESS COST'S YOUNG GIRL HER BUDDING LIFE.........

Life does indeed have this strange or quirky ability of doing justice to you on the rebound; one ,may decide to end one's life in a fleeting moment of weakness of self pity and weakness; but then life not only restores your lost pride and honour but also elevates you to the pedestal of a hero or heroine........
Urvi Singh a class X student of the national capital's ultra prestigious Delhi Public School (DPS) belatedly saw her honour and pride being restored from her heavenly abode (Urvi committed suicide on April 12) as she secured the much coveted CGPA of 10 in the results declared by her school on Tuesday.........
Urvi in a moment of untold weakness had decided to end her fledgling life on April 12 as she had failed to clear the internal screening test conducted by her school authorities for provisional admission to class XI on March 27, 2014........
Despite being a topper throughout the school authorities (DPS bigwigs) for reasons known only to themselves chose not to enrol Urvi in the science stream in class XI citing the results of her internal screening test that were announced on April 10,2014 (i.e. a mere two days before she committed suicide).........
A remorseless and conscienceless school administration however steadfastly refuses to admit it's cardinal error and stands by the conclusions drawn by it's internal assessors while Urvi's classmates lament the fact that they cannot congratulate Urvi personally on her noteworthy and stupendous achievement.........
As two of her closest friends and confidantes Ankit and Ahana pithily remarked, "Urvi was always a topper throughout her eventful school life, she was brilliant in her studies and always set an example for the rest of us, then why did she choose to end her life that was yet to bloom prematurely, should we blame our school authorities for the shoddy state of affairs or then fate", they sign off.........
An immensely proud yet inconsolable Jitendra Singh (Urvi's father) who is a builder by profession says, "I had no doubt whatsoever about my irreplaceable daughter's abilities and had predicted this result on the very day she sat for her examinations, my daughter was a sincere and meritorious student who had aced every examination and always stood in the top three in her class yet her school authorities decided to bypass her impeccable credentials and fail her in the screening test; Urvi was shocked and dismayed when she learnt that her name was not amongst the thirty that had been admitted to the science stream in class XI and hence she decided to end her life as she felt that she had let us down", he laments while squarely blaming the school authorities for his doting daughter's premature demise.........
The fact of the matter is that so called centres of excellence like the supposedly infallible Delhi Public School have become a law unto themselves and not only developed this growing feeling of invincibility but an equally thick and impervious hide to boot.........
One fails to wonder why the school's principal and bigwigs fail to realise the fact that their internal assessment is conducted by a group or gaggle of individuals who might be governed by prejudices, prone to playing favourites and putting certain chosen one's before other's who fail to make the cut in their biased and jaundiced view..........
Can a PITHY AND MANIPULATIVE INTERNAL ASSESSMENT TEST OVERRULE AND OVERTAKE A NATION WIDE ASSESSMENT EXAMINATION THAT BOASTS OF COMPUTERISED RESULTS AND ALSO ALLOWS CANDIDATES OR STUDENTS THE PRIVILEGE OF REVIEWING OR REASSESSING THEIR RESULTS IF THEY ARE DISSATISFIED BY THEM......well each and every one of you are more than inherently capable of drawing your own conclusions..........

DEAR SHRI ARVIND KEJRIWAL SAHEB.........

Dear Shri Arvind Kejriwal Saheb, 
You might be spending tonight and the next day in the national capital's Tihar Jail as you refused to furnish the bail amount sanctioned by the sessions court judge in the defamation case filed by you by one Nitin Gadkari who appointed his driver, gardener, cook, sweeper, Man Friday and so and so forth as directors of shell companies that exist primarily on paper........
One wonders why you were let off with a mere rap of the knuckles in the defamation cases filed by you against Messrs Sheila Dikshit and Kapil Sibal as one distinctly remembers the judges in both those cases letting you go the very minute you signed an affidavit/undertaking stating your intent to make a personal appearance in the concerned courts when either of these cases came up for hearing........
Then what is so different about this case that the concerned judge chose to bring down the full force of the law upon you was it because he owed his appointment as a judge to some BJP bigwig or then was it simply because he wanted to prove his loyalty and allegiance to his political lord's and benefactors........
The very same media which is currently crying itself hoarse and accusing you of enacting a drama in order to remain politically relevant and occupy the headlines once again went around from city to city and place to place in an effort to prove that the very same Nitin Gadkari who filed the defamation case against you registered any number of his shell companies at addresses that either simply did not exist or then at addresses where the residents did not know Nitin Gadkari from Adam........
I for one have been an ardent supporter of the judiciary and have always maintained that the same is the last bastion of truth, fair play and justice in a country where a significant majority of both it's leaders as well as common citizens have sold their souls to th devil in the forlorn hope of enriching themselves at the cost of their fellows and brethren.........
But, one is constrained to say that the very same judiciary has simply got it wrong in this case and has carried out the gravest travesty of justice and all credit to you for simply not taking this injustice lying down and exposing the numerous shortcomings and warts within the hallowed portals of this supposedly divine pillar of democracy.......
You have chosen to go to jail as a matter of principle and done legions of ardent supporters like us proud no matter what the doubting Thomases, nay sayers and prophets of doom who inhabit the echelons and passages of the paid media might say; you have only once again proved that two systems of justice exist in this country one for the Nitin Gadkari's of this world who abuse the power bestowed on them by a trusting and gullible public as if the same was their divine right........
Juxtapose this against against the much abused, vilified, and discriminated against common man who surmounts herculean obstacles every single day in the course of his daily life; more power to the elbows of people like you who embody the everyday struggles and battles of the Aam Aadmi and symbolise everything about him/her........
No matter what the oppressors may do, we are an unstoppable tour de force that will not be swayed or sidelined from our chosen path of truth, justice, non violence and zero tolerance for corruption/graft no matter what and if these are the "Achche Din" that Narendra Modi and his cohorts are promising the country then all one can say is God Help India........

DOWRY MENACE NOTCHES UP YET ANOTHER VICTIM.........

Untold and sustained pressure being exerted by a covetous husband and usurpious in-laws forced a 30 year old Delhi based woman to end her life prematurely as she could no longer cope with the unreasonable demands being exerted on her...........
A 30 year old married woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself to death in the national capital's Bharat Nagar area (North West Delhi) late on Sunday afternoon.........
No suicide note or dying declaration was recovered from either the woman's body, room or mobile; but a case of unnatural death has been registered and the local police personnel have begun investigating the role of her husband and in-laws in her premature demise as the woman's parents squarely laid the blame for her death at the doorstep of the trio...........
Jatin Arora (the husband) found Arushi (his legally married wife) hanging from the ceiling of their bedroom at around 2;15 pm or so on Sunday afternoon and hurriedly rushed to inform his other family members who brought her down and rushed her to a neighbouring hospital where the doctors declared her brought dead on arrival..........
The hospital authorities in turn brought this matter to the notice of the local police personnel who immediately sent the woman's body for a post mortem to a government run medical facility as per the laid down norms in all such cases of unnatural death.........
Arushi's grieving family members told the investigating officer that she and Jatin were united in holy matrimony in circa 2007; they also proceeded to inform the police officials about the demands for a new car being made by Jjatin and his parents ever since Arushi's father had bought a swanking new car of his own some seven months back or so.........
"Her husband and in-laws had been making constant and never ending demands for a new car of their own ever since and Arushi sounded deeply disturbed and panicked when she called me up some three hours or so before she deigned to end her life by hanging", her inconsolable mother said in the midst of heart rending wails.........
I have a simple and profitable solution for all such males who portend their wives and in-laws to be nothing more than a means or then ticket to instant wealth and untold riches.....hang a price tag around your necks and strategically position yourself at your locality's most happening spot and you will soon know your true worth in the market and more importantly your true value in the eyes of the rest of the world..........

Three young women hailing from the north eastern parts of this glorious country not only successfully apprehended a teenager who deigned to sneak into the room that they shared on the fourth floor late on Saturday night with the sinister purpose of molesting them and fondling sensitive parts of their anatomy.........
19 year old Lalit Joshi who was succesfully apprehended by the three women and handed over to the local police authorities with the help of the landlord and other male residents of the area duly broke down under sustained and relentless police interrogation and confessed to the fact that he had indeed scaled several terraces and even scaled two floors down metallic ventilator in his bid to gain access to the women's abode in the Naraina Area (South west Delhi) at around 1:30 am or so in the wee hours of later Saturday night/early Sunday morning........
He also confessed to the fact that he had been surveying/purveying the building in question for the last few weeks and had even learnt about a ventilation duct which was strategically located right above his wanton victim's bedroom.........
A long time resident of the adjoining Naraina Village, Lalit used the close proximity of his humble dwelling to his proposed victim's residence to his advantage.......
Joshi admitted that he had begun his journey to the women's bedroom from the roof of a house that was some distance away from the flat occupied by the three young women who are gainfully employed as mid level executives in separate private firms and belong to three different North Eastern states.......
He also disclosed that he fantasised about doing indescribeable things to the three young women as he took the various tales narrated to him by other young men of his age about the footloose, wanton and allegedly promiscuous ways of women hailing from the North Eastern regions of this country and had scaled six roofs and slid down a roof shaft, dismantled an iron grille and did such other things before landing bang in the middle of the bedroom shared by the three young women........
What however put paid to his carefully worked out plans was the fact that two of the three young women were wide awake at that supposedly unearthly hour and screamed at the top of their voices the very minute he laid their hands on the body of one of them and not only that they successfully subdued him until the landlord and other menfolk residing in the neighbouring area reached the spot, summoned the police and handed Joshi over to them after landing a few stout blows of their own on his now cowering and quivering persona..........
And hence ends a tale that was intended to be the highlight of a sexually over/hyper active teenagers life but instead ended up being the biggest mistake of it as he is now confronted with the piteous spectacle of a considerably lengthy jail sentence as he has been booked for the twin crimes of trespassing, physical intimidation and ,molestation........

AAM AADMI PARTY'S FAIR WEATHERED FRIENDS..........

As if the less than encouraging results in the recently concluded parliamentary elections were not enough of a heartburn and a cause of deep rooted concern for the fledgling Aam Aadmi party, close on it's heels follows the perturbing news of voluntary contributions to the party's coffers having hit rock bottom during the course of the last few days.......
According to deeply disturbed and harried party bigwigs, contributions to the tune of a few lakhs was the daily norm until as recently as May 16, but the contributions/donations have perilously plummeted into the thousands ever since on certain days.........
One party bigwig who did not want to be named let the cat out of the bag by saying that the party which used to receive an average contribution of Rupees 6-8 lakh on a daily basis until the last week or so is currently struggling to come to terms with the irrefutable fact that these heady contributions have since mysteriously plummeted and is currently numbering in the thousands........
Sample this, on May 14, 15 and 18, the party coffers received nett contributions of Rs. 64,664, Rs. 44,527 and Rs. 88,266 respectively; however these dismal lows were more than offset by the more than heartening Rs. 22 lakhs received by the new age party on May 16 and Rs. 11 lakhs that it received on May 17, 2014.........
If past precedents are any yardstick or then parameter to go by, then there is definite cause for concern and consternation as the average daily contributions are even lower than that of August 2013 (around Rs.6.4 lakhs per day) when the political pundits did not even consider AAP as a "serious" political party and condescendingly wrote it off as a "four day wonder".........
Juxtaposed against this "rock bottom" phase is the "heady and intoxicating" phase between December 8-27, 2013 when the party was receiving an average daily contribution of Rs. 8 to 9 lakh per day in the period immediately following the elections to the Delhi assembly.......
As a harried senior party leader said, "we are staring elections to the Delhi, Haryana and Maharashtra assemblies during the course of the next few months and if the daily collections do not pick up drastically in the near future, the party might well be heading towards a repeat of it's performance in the parliamentary elections"...........
Trust the ebullient and effervescent Manish Sisodia to hit the nail on the head, "yes the plummeting daily contributions are indeed a source of worry, but we know that this is just a temporary phase, and we more than know that all we have to do is to approach the Indian citizens with folded hands and they will rally around and loosen their purse strings in a manner that it will shut the mouths of the doubters and naysayers forever".........
Hope does always spring eternal in the human heart and the same holds good for the Aam Aadmi Party too, the brightest morning always follows the darkest night and AAP's bright morning is just round the corner..........
