Strapping actor Randeep Hooda was rushed to Delhi's Fortis Hospital a little after 1 pm or so on April 18; 2016........
The dashing; dapper; suave and sophisticated Haryanvi who has more than carved out an unique niche for himself within the starry corridors of the Hindi film industry was in the midst of filming an intense scene on the sets of Yashraj film's "Sultan" co starring the darling of the masses Salman Khan when he experienced excruciating and acute pains in his abdominal region.........
Dismissing the crippling pains as yet another occupational hazard Randeep proceeded to consume a few antibiotics/painkillers and decided to continue shooting for as long as he could; to his dismay and disbelief he soon realised that his condition was far worse than he had initially foreseen as he found himself doubling up in sheer agony and nearly passing out from the intensity of the pains being experienced by him.........
Being the good samaritan that he is a concerned and alarmed Salman Khan summoned his driver and long standing bodyguard Shera and made the necessary arrangements to rush the convulsed with pain fellow actor to the afore mentioned hospital post haste.........
Doctors at the said hospital proceeded to conduct a series of tests on the Haryanvi chhora and came to the conclusion that he had inflamed and aggravated an already/pre existing herniatic (hernia) condition beyond all reasonable and endurable limits and an immediate surgical intervention was the only panacea/solution for this grave condition........
The very same doctors successfully performed the much required surgery late in the evening (18 April 2016) and duly confirmed that the much sought after doctor would be duly discharged from the hospital after being kept under observation for the next 24 hours or so.........
They also dissuaded the macho Randeep from indulging in any strenuous physical activity for the next three to four weeks and to take things easy and relax for as long as possible even though Randeep vehemently protested against the same instructions as he would not be able to promote his forthcoming film "Laal Rang" (slated to hit the screens on April 22) and might just end up delaying the much awaited Sultan which is slated to be released during the Eid/Ramadan period later this year.........
