Kudos to a woman who is willing to give it back with renewed interest and take an unequivocal and principled stand against all those folks out to exploit her feminine charms in order to make a fast buck..........
In a first of it's kind; a Thrissur based heroine who is making her presence felt in the Malyalam film industry filed cases against both the producer and director of the forthcoming release "Daivam Sakshi" for including a scene in which she was coerced into stripping down to the bare necessities........
Taking umbrage against the said scene that was included in the film as an afterthought in order to provide some cheap thrills and titillation to the front benchers this woman of substance decided to take recourse to the law as this infamous and controversial scene was not a part and parcel of the script that was handed over to her when she signed on the dotted line and agreed to be an integral part of the same........
Realising that she was being objectified and turned into an instrument or means of sexual perversion this undaunted lady proceeded to file a case against the afore mentioned duo at the woman's cell of the Thodupuzha police station subsequent to which the Kaliyaar police station authorities took due cognisance of the same and launched a detailed probe into the heroine's claims and accused duo's protestations of misplaced outrage and hypocritical innocence.........
One only hopes and prays that all established and wannabe heroines learn a long overdue lesson from this noteworthy woman who stood like up like no other for the principles and values that she believed in and challenged the hegemony and misogyny ruling the roost in the numerous film industries dotting our glorious motherland.......
