Tihar jail bigwigs, (read authorities) have chosen to answer the stinging criticism levelled against them on issues pertaining to their abject failure to provide their women inmates with their fair share of job opportunities and means of livelihood by simply conducting an unique recruitment drive for it's women inmates in the foreseeable future..........
This special and exclusive placement drive will be conducted in active collusion with concerned and conscientious corporate houses or entities in the first week of June..........
According to a few Tihar Jail bigwigs this hallowed recruitment drive will indeed be special in every sense of the term as the jail's female inmates always jockeyed for prime placements with their male counterparts thus far and more often than not, found themselves at the wrong end of the barrel............
"This will indeed be an unique and one of it's kind opportunity accorded to the celebrated jail's women inmates for the very first time this time around as this drive will be exclusively and comprehensively meant for them and them only", Sunil Gupta the official spokesperson of the jail gushes...........
"Such recruitment drives were initiated or introduced for the first time way back in the year 2010 as the jail authorities realised that the inmates were being discriminated against despite having what it took on the grounds of their criminal backgrounds and the stigma attached to employing such people", Gupta informs............
"400 odd inmates have been successfully placed in various corporates since the year 2010, but the number of women inmates who have been successfully supplanted or recruited stands at an abysmal 15 and hence the express need for such a focussed and aimed recruitment drive", Gupta points out..............
