Our national capital has callously added one more woman's scalp to it's already burgeoning crime statistics; what with a woman's headless body being recovered from a prime Delhi locality late on Wednesday night......
According to police sources, the headless body of a woman was found stuffed inside a bag that was strategically placed besides a bus stop in West Delhi's bustling and vibrant Janakpuri locality........
The very same police sources also went onto confirm the fact that the said body of the woman was found in a totally naked or unclothed condition late on Wednesday night.......
A local PCR van was informed about the presence of a suspicious looking bag at around 11:30 pm or so on Wednesday night by alert and wary citizens who were waiting for a bus at the bus stop located near the A block on Pankha Road........
The PCR van in turn informed the local police officials who rushed to the spot post haste with a dog as well as bomb disposal squad in tow; the bag was firstly secluded and the contents were then unearthed and local police officials were taken aback when the headless body of a woman tumbled out of the bag.......
To confound matters only the neck and the rest of the body were found wrapped inside a blood stained plastic sheet that had in turn been shoved into a jute bag; the murderer/s had tied the plastic sheet with ropes so that the body would remain confined within the same.......
According to the investigating officer, the head of the victim was inhumanly hacked off with a cleaver or sharp edged knife, the head seems to have been placed at another location in order to obscure the identity of the dead woman and the Delhi Police is yet to locate the head of the victim.......
Doctors who carried out a forensic examination of the body said that the body seemed/appeared to be of a woman in her mid to late twenties (20's) and that the woman might have been murdered at least three or four days ago as the body was found in a highly decomposed state........
Utterly clueless and at their wit's end, the Delhi Police bigwigs have constituted three teams to probe the case and requested Dilliwalas to come forward and help identify the headless woman......
