Trust this evergreen actor par excellence who has been setting the benchmark for other actors to follow within the hallowed precincts of the Hindi film industry for the last three decades and more to do things with his characteristic swagger and studied nonchalance......
One of my all time favourite actors who was shooting for a forthcoming film in Mumbai's famed and iconic "Film City" decided to make the journey back home by boarding the common man's (typical Mumbaikars) favourite mode of transportation (Mumbai's much maligned local trains) in tandem with his better half on a typically hustling and bustling Monday late evening........
Mr and Mrs. Kapoor boarded the said local train at a station in close proximity to the afore mentioned Film City and thereby reduced their typical two odd hour long road journey to a mere twenty five minutes or so thanks to the maximum city's super efficient locals.......
Posting a series of tweets during the course of his eventful and nostalgic 25 odd long minute journey the "young at heart" Superstar posted a series of photographs of his self posing with fawning fans; ecstatic fellow Mumbaikars and last but not the least a group of policemen who could not believe either their eyes or good fortune.......
"Lakhan" also recounted and recalled his period of struggle (period when he was trying to establish himself within the cut throat and dog eat dog industry) and vowed to travel by his chosen mode of transport far more frequently in order to keep himself grounded and in regular touch with his legions of followers and dedicated fans,,,,,,
Needless to say that the folks who were fortunate enough to share the same space with the immortal actor are more than eagerly looking forward to an encore of this remarkable and life changing journey.........
