Former or then should I say "disgraced" Indian speedster Shantakumaran Sreesanth certainly seems to be making a mark in his second innings as an actor of repute and some standing.......
Sree (as he is fondly known) will soon be making his Hindi film debut with a stellar role in producer-director Pooja Bhatt's much anticipated film "Cabaret" but seems to have got even luckier with his second venture........
Hindi film buffs may well remember the 2006 box office success "Aksar" starring Emraan Hashmi; Shreyas Talpade; Udita Goswami and such notable others and the grapevine has it that a sequel to this 2006 hit is in the works.........
According to a source inexorably linked with this forthcoming production; the producers and director of this intriguing venture have more or less finalised the script ans star cast of the same and it is all but certain that Sreesanth will be seen sharing screen space with the sultry Zareen Khan who was last seen in the umpteenth version of the "Hate Story" franchise alongside Karan Singh Grover; Sharman Joshi and Daisy Shah..........
If this piece or then bit of news or information can be taken at face value then Sreesanth certainly seems to be well on his way to establishing himself within the echelons of the highly competitive and cut throat Hindi film industry where newcomers or newbies often take years or then decades to establish themselves and leave their indelible footprints on the sand of time........
Here's hoping and praying that this multi talented and faceted gent whose cricketing career came to a rather premature end in the most controversial and unsavoury circumstances has better luck with his second coming and sets the screen alight/ablaze with his dashing and dapper persona that can certainly give many an established star a run for his money.........
