Will the Bachchan scion (Abhishek Bachchan) and noted film maker Sanjay Gupta combine creative forces in the forthcoming third instalment of the iconic "Shootout" series?????
If the Hindi film industry grapevine is to be believed; Gupta who had earlier more than successfully helmed the two earlier versions of the "Shootout" series (Shootout at Lokhandwala and Shootout at Wadala) had recently offered the junior Bachchan who was last seen in the smash hit "Housefull 3" the lead role in the third instalment of the much loved and acclaimed police versus underworld series.........
This particular instalment of the suave and sophisticated crime series is believed to revolve around the life and exploits of famed encounter specialist Vijay Salaskar and the junior Bachchan has agreed in principle to reprise the role of the encounter specialist on the silver screen according to sources from the Gupta camp.......
Gupta is said to be feverishly working on the script so that he can concentrate his time and energy on firming up the rest of the cast as soon as he has a bound script in hand and if everything goes as scheduled the third instalment of the "Shootout" series may go on the floors in the second week of November 2016........
Here's wishing the junior Bachchan and Sanjay Gupta nothing else than the very best for their forthcoming (though yet to be concretised) venture and hoping that the same scales the pinnacle of success and glory as both the producer/director and dashing actor can certainly do with one more smashing hit that rakes in both the crores as well as critical acclaim.......
