Recently retired Aussie speedster Brett Lee whose visage was flashed across television screens worldwide in his new fangled avatar as a cricket commentator during the recently concluded World Cup 2015 has once again reaffirmed his love affair with the Hindi film industry by dancing to Salim Sulaiman's tunes........
Yes you did certainly read it right; Brett Lee donned a desi outfit; Bandhgala; Churidhar Pyjama et al and more than willingly swaggered or rather shook both his legs to a composition/song mellifluously tuned by Salim Sulaiman of Band; Baaja; Baarat fame in the august company of leading lady Tannishta Chatterjee.........
"UnIndian" a soon to be released Indo-Australian co-production about the trials; travails and tribulations faced about the Indian diaspora abroad is the flick in which Brett Lee will be making a so called "friendly" appearance and the same might just turn out to be the film's "ace in the pack" if a gushing and effusive debutante director Anupam Sharma is any yardstick or parameter to go by.........
According to an overwhelmed Mr. Sharma; Brett is not only suave; confident and charming; in other words a natural before the cameras but he also succeeded in getting into the skin of his character in "UnIndian"; Brett more than danced and charmed his way into our hearts; but also reaffirmed his status as a defacto Indian with his Indian mannerisms and charming utterances in chaste Hindi a mightily impressed Sharma concluded.........
