TEENAGE GIRL BODY'S FOUND STUFFED IN SUITCASE.........

Murderers and habitual killers are certainly getting far more adventurous and innovative in matters pertaining to the disposal of their "prey" what with them taking to stuffing bodies in suitcases and then leaving the same on the railway tracks so that a passing train can dismember the body into pieces..........
Passengers at Pune's teeming and bustling Talegaon Railway station were in for the shock of their lives when an innocuous looking red suitcase that was lying on the tracks adjoining platform was opened in their presence and found to contain the body of a teenage girl within it's confines........
Friday morning started off just like any other morning on this station that is most often bursting to the seams with hordes of humanity frequenting it's environs what with sweepers doing their best to clean up the burgeoning mess and dogs doing the rounds of the tracks in search of something to eat........
One such dog however met his gory end under the wheels of a speeding express train and the sweepers were summoned to clean up the bloodied carcass and restore some semblance of order when one of them happened upon a seemingly innocuous and nondescript red suitcase lying on the tracks in the vicinity of Talegaon station's platform number 2........
This red suitcase was duly brought to the notice of the Railway police authorities who then proceeded to alert their counterparts in the bomb squad who arrived on the spot with sniffer dogs and all their other paraphernalia in tow within no time at all........
Sniffer dogs and metal detectors were pressed into service but they returned empty handed as they failed to detect any trace of explosives whatsoever, but lo and behold the idyllic world of the police came crashing to it's knees when an enterprising sub inspector prised open the lock of the suitcase and the body of a girl who is supposed to be between 16-18 years of age tumbled out of the same.........
Sub-Inspector Sarjerao Shinde however managed to keep his wits about him and was soon able to ascertain or establish the facts that the deceased (young girl) was approximately around 4 feet 9 inches in height, was wearing a green salwar kameez when her soul took flight and also that her hands were secured with a rope or some similar binding agent as well as determining that the body bore strangulation or ligature marks on it's neck.........
"One can only comment with certainty on the exact cause of death after the post mortem is duly completed, all once can say with complete authority at this point is that prima facie it appears that the body was thrown on the tracks a few hours before the same was found"..........
"We have also begun the due process of examining the CCTV footage from adjoining stations in an effort to determine the girl's identity and trace her whereabouts or origins; data of missing persons registered with police stations in and around Pune within the last 4-5 days is also being collated as part of the ongoing investigations", Shinde opined........
And thereby hangs a tale of murder most foul.........
