Strange indeed are the ways of humankind, we firstly procreate or then give birth to our progeny and then proceed to batter them within an inch of their nascent and fledgling lives before abandoning them in this near deathly state..........
A badly beaten, battered and abandoned baby girl is waging a heroic battle for her cocooned life in Noida's Yatharth Wellness Hospital....According to the team of doctors attending on her, the baby in question was brought in to the hospital on the night of May 3,2014 in a near deathly state.........
"The baby who was callously abandoned in a secluded and isolated corner of Noida's sector 36 sometime on May 3 was brought into the hospital by a concerned citizen who found her wailing in acute distress at the afore mentioned location"..........
"She (the baby) was ushered into the hospital premises with deep rooted marks of incalculable injuries all over her tiny and frail body and has been incarcerated in the hospital's Intensive Care Unit where her condition is being monitored round the clock by a team of dedicated doctors expressly constituted for this purpose", the medical superintendent of the hospital signs off..........
"The numerous injuries inflicted on her miniscule persona have caused her inestimable harm and hence she has been admitted to the ICU ever since she was brought into the hospital; her condition remains critical and the next 72-96 hours will prove to be of immense importance in her recovery", a senior doctor attending on her remarks.........
A senior police official said that an intensive search for the parents of the body was on in Noida and adjoining areas; the child could have been abducted and then subsequently abandoned by her abductors or then her parents might well have dumped her at the spot where she was found as they did not want to be burdened with the upbringing of a girl child.......
"Much needed clarity will only become available after we manage to locate the abandoned baby's parents and question them intensively", yet another senior inspector said..........
And we still continue to wonder why man is regarded as the most dangerous animal on planet earth...........
