Founder and patriarch of the fledgling Aam Aadmi Party, Arvind Kejriwal is certainly socking it to his more illustrious (????) political opponents and giving it back to them with more than twice the force........
Sample this for a riposte, "It takes a lot of guts and gumption to volunterily give up the chief minister's post and the Congress and BJP netas simply do not know the meaning of giving up a gubernatorial post", Arvind Kejriwal said in his reply to the repeated charges made by both Congress as well as BJP bigwigs on the issue of his fleeing from the Delhi chief ministers' post.........
Reiterating his stance, Arvind Kejriwal said, "I did not flee from both the responsibility and position but renounced the same on a matter of principle"; "my political opponents conveniently seem to have forgotten the fact that both I as well as my erstwhile cabinet colleagues repeated the statement ad nauseum about being in politics for the sake of the common man and not for the sake of posts and personal glory"........
Kejriwal further went on to say that., "renouncing a post of authority on a matter of principle took a lot of guts and both the Congress as well as the BJP bigwigs did not have the same guts as they had to be unceremoniously dragged away from their kursis kicking,screaming and raising a mighty cacophony"..........
"Why are both the BJP as well as the Congress shit scared of holding fresh elections in Delhi, is it simply because of the fact that they are well acquainted with the groundswell of support for the Aam Aadmi party or then simply because we will end up winning 50 seats or so if polls to the Delhi assembly were to be held today"..........
"Both the BJP and Congress have formed an unholy alliance and are exerting undue pressure on the Lieutenant Governor on the matter of holding elections and seeking a renewed mandate, we went to the Supreme Court on the matter and the Court has heard us and issued notices to both these parties seeking their response within the next 15 days or so"............
Addressing a massive public rally at the national capital's Dwarka area in support of the Aam Aadmi Party's West Delhi parliamentary candidate jarnail Singh, Mr. Kejriwal said "the AAP government was the only government to have fulfilled a significant majority of the promises made by it to the electorate, we more than fulfilled our promises on free water, subsiding electricity, set up a SIT to probe the Anti Sikh riots of 1984 and also proceeded to get the DISCOMS audited by the CAG while on the other hand the BJP governments in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan had done precious little apart from gloating over their electoral victories and singing their own praises during the first 49 days of their present tenures"............
The country's bright and bountiful future was inextricably linked to the immediate acts of deposing both the "Shahenshahs" Modi as well as Rahul Gandhi from their positions of power, pelf and political patronage, "these two notables need to not only deposed but also shown their rightful place in the political firmament as their defeat was the only way forward in the quest to arrest the spiralling prices of essential commodities and providing some solace to the long suffering and overburdened Aam Aadmi", Arvind Kejriwal thundered........
