Does the Omung Kumar helmed biopic "Srabjit" deserve any other endorsement or recommendation other than this????
Matinee idol; living legend and the star of the millennium 73 year old Amitabh Bachchan took to twitter to laud the sterling efforts of Messrs Omung Kumar; Randeep Hooda (who essays the role of the doomed and condemned Indian prisoner who was accused of spying by on our neighbouring country by it's demonic authorities and bludgeoned to death in the very prison where he spent more than 22 years of his episodic life) and last but not the least beloved Bahurani Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (who essays the role of Srabjit Singh's indomitable and feisty elder sister Dalbir Kaur who kept fighting to bring him back until his mortal remains were brought back to his native village in a wooden coffin).........
Here goes Mr. Bachchan's tweet "T 2260-'Sarbjit' an intense and dramatic film.....pertinent and performed with great aplomb!!!! heartiest congratulations!!!!"; other stars and prominent lights of the Hindi film industry who echoed both his words and sentiments included the likes of Manish Paul; Riteish Deshmukh; Neil Nitin Mukesh and Mika Singh who showered lavish praise on this harrowing and tragic tale of human endurance and bravery........
"Sarbjit" was released worldwide earlier today and mostly garnered rave reviews from carping critics who almost unanimously showered praise on it's director and cast for their earnest and sincere efforts at recreating one of the most darkest; sinister and poignant episodes of India's post independence history.........
