Estrangement or more precisely, the longing for separation from your legally married wife indeed does strange things to people, it even forces them to load morphed nude photos of their wives on social networking sites in an effort to get that much desired and sought after divorce at the earliest.........
A man who is a long term resident of Secunderabad in Andhra Pradesh wanted to legally separate from his legally married wife of four years standing (the wife currently resides in Ahmedabad with her parents as the daily bickering and arguments got a little too hot for comfort for her) and hence the husband hacked his wife's facebook account and posted morphed nude photos of her in a variety of poses in an effort to besmirch her spotless reputation and lay his hands on that much sought after divorce.........
Left with little or no choice, the aggrieved and anguished woman approached the crime branch seeking justice and proceeded to file a written report with the cyber crime cell; without wasting any time whatsoever, cyber crime cops got cracking on the case and successfully managed to trace the IP address of the computer used by the disgruntled and devious husband to upload his estranged wife's morphed photographs.........
"The said IP address has been traced to Secunderabad and a crack team has since been despatched to the same place in order to nab the offending husband at the earliest", a senior cyber cell officer confirmed...........
Narrating the sordid saga of events, the very same senior inspector said that Kamla (name changed in order to obscure the victim's real identity) and Suresh used to work together for an IT company in Secunderabad, got romantically tangled and married each other a little over four years ago........
Things were hunky dory between the two for the first year or so, but everyday wrangling, frequent arguments and mutual acrimony became the course of the day as time passed by, fed up with the constant bickering, Kamla moved to Ahmedabad some two years ago or so and has been living with her parents in the city ever since
Kamla's unilateral decision to move in with her parents did however not go down well with Suresh (it began to get his goat) and he took to barraging her with constant phone calls beseeching her to come back and join him as he had realised the error of his ways and was more than willing to make a fresh beginning.........
Suresh's pleas however did not have the desired effect on Kamla and she more than firmly stuck to her guns and a now thoroughly disgruntled and irate Suresh then started barracking her with calls asking for a divorce, but Kamla put her foot down and told him that she was not willing to grant him a divorce on the terms that he was seeking the same........
A little over a fortnight ago, Kamla was shocked out of her wits when she saw numerous nude and obviously morphed photographs of her on her facebook account and she got in touch with us and requested us in helping her bring the offender who posted these offensive and objectionable photographs to justice........
As is the norm in most if not all such cases, the first or initial needle of suspicion pointed at the husband, in this case it was even more so as the couple were not on good terms with each other and the husband had more than just cause to defame and disgrace his wife in order to get the divorce that he wanted so badly........
Our cyber experts then started making efforts to trace the IP address of the computer from which these highly derogatory photos were posted and managed to trace the same to Secunderabad and also conclusively establish the fact that Suresh who still continues to work for the same IT firm was using the said computer at the time when these crude photos of his wife were posted on her facebook account and hence the decision to send a crack team to nab Suresh at the earliest, the senior inspector signs off.........
