20 YEAR OLD WOMAN BRUTALLY ATTACKED BY SPURNED SUITOR OUTSIDE DELHI METRO STATION........

Oh! how spurned advances or then should I say discarded marriage proposals make monsters out of the best of us and reduce us to nothing more than snivelling caricatures of bestiality who have conveniently shed the last vestiges of humanity in an effort to avenge our so called insult or humiliation............
A 20 year old woman was unceremoniously and brutally attacked right outside the Karkardooma metro railway station in the national capital on Sunday night by her classmate after she had disdainfully dismissed his so called marriage proposal........
According to eyewitnesses, bystanders and curious onlookers, this gruesome incident occurred at around 8 pm or so on the fateful Sunday night when the 20 year old woman was returning after attending her classes in a Gurgaon based private college........
The so called spurned suitor who also happens to be her calssmate and of the same age as the victim confronted her when she had alighted from the train and was making a beeline towards the metro station's parking area in an effort to retrieve her two wheeler.........
Lo and behold, her spurned suitor firstly rudely jostled her by pulling her elbow and turning her so that she faced him, he subsequently started showering choicest abuses and epithets on her as well as raining a barrage of slaps, punches and kicks that soon reduced the victim to a snivelling and cowering bundle of humanity.........
Surprisingly fellow commuters and passers by came to her aid in this instance instead of turning their backs as has become the trend in the national capital over a period of time, they not only subdued him but also managed to land a few blows of their own on various parts of his anatomy........
However the 20 year old attacker or assailant made the best use of the prevalent confusion and managed to get away or escape from the scene before he was handed over to the cops who frequent the very same station in their PCR vans.........
In her statement to the police, the victim said that she had recognised her classmate the very minute he set foot in the same compartment but preferred to avoid him instead of escalating matters and tensions, she also said that her classmate had taken to stalking her over the last few weeks and that she had brought this matter to the notice of the private college's authorities but her complaint had no salutary effect on her classmate and stalker..........
Police personnel have duly registered a case against the accused at the Yamuna Depot Police stations and have begun their efforts to trace the assailant at the earliest.........
