Mr. Abraham who experienced excruciating and inhuman pains after wrenching and grotesquely twisting his right knee beyond all endurable human belief took the injury lightly as is his wont and continued performing one death defying stunt after the other despite the dire predictions made by the doctor who was present on the sets all through the stunt sequences.......
He painfully discovered the consequences of his willful; negligent and delusional actions/ deeds as he had to get himself admitted into a famed and iconic Mumbai super speciality hospital where a team of skilled and experienced surgeons cut open his right knee and drained the clotted blood accumulated in the area for a continual and torturous six day long period.......
The "Dishoom" and "Dhoom" fame accomplished actors world literally and figuratively collapsed around his knees when the surgeon heading the team of doctors operating on him surgically informed him that the doctors had little or no recourse other than amputating his seriously afflicted right leg as the infection was rapidly spreading and the almost unstoppable spreading of the same could endanger his life and longevity on planet earth.......
A stitch in time saves nine and a wizened and world weary veteran actor who had seen everything there is to see and a lot more besides turned out to be John's proverbial "knight in shining armour" as he severely reprimanded and chastised the afore mentioned doctors for being "prophets of doom" and impressed upon them the seemingly divine fact that yet another surgical procedure could not only save the afflicted and endangered leg but also give it a renewed lease of life and hope......
Posting a series of pictures of himself propped up in his hospital bed on his innumerable social networking accounts John implored and exhorted all his fellow cine stars countrymen and women to pay due heed and cognisance to sage medical advice and never ever neglect any injury no matter however trivial and meaningless the same may seem at the time as the same could end up endangering your life and limb......
