Online lunatics or then should I say twitteratis who have made trolling Hindi film industry stars and their travails the very purpose of their otherwise unremarkable existence on planet earth have excelled themselves once again..,.......
Hours after the iconic; debonair; versatile and voluble Aamir Khan unravelled the first look or rather poster of his much anticipated Christmas 2016 release "Dangal" which chivalrously promotes the cause of women empowerment and entitlement unabashedly and unapologetically; twitter was abuzz with a series of comments that not only left a bitter after taste in one's gullet but also raised pertinent questions about the sanity of these jokers.......
A significant majority of these unsavoury and distasteful posts were posted by self confessed Salman Khan fans who wanted all and sundry to boycott this film as Aamir Khan was a "traitor and deshdrohi" who had let the country down and painted it in an extremely poor light with his remarks on intolerance and his better half being insecure about her future in her beloved motherland......
One only wonders why this bunch of jokers and retards do some much needed introspection and ponder over the fact whether or not their so called "matinee idol" and infallible hero" had exactly covered himself in glory with his highly derogatory; sexist; regressive; repugnant and despicable allegory comparing himself or rather his physical agony to that of a raped woman's...........
Aamir was man enough to own up to his remarks; put them in a proper and cohesive context and last but not the least apologise if he had indeed hurt the sentiments and feelings of fellow Indians who did not take kindly to his remarks; but one is still awaiting any remorse; regret or apology from the misogynistic dinosaur who answers to the name of Salman Khan........
Let me make it clear that I am neither an Aamir Khan apologist nor one of his fawning fans but a conscientious and concerned Indian citizen who is of the unequivocal opinion that twitter is meant for healthy; knowledgeable and educative debates; discussions and powwows that contribute their mite towards making both our nation as well as the world a better place to live on/in and not for disparaging remarks and mindless lunacy........
As for these folks who have nothing better to do with themselves and their nincompoopish minds (if they indeed have them to begin with) do grow up and get a life before the rest of the world moves on to bigger and better causes and leaves you behind in the primeval ages where you rightfully belong........
