DIFFERENT STROKES FOR DIFFERENT FOLKS.........

Our motherland is certainly a land of uncertainties and glorious or then should I say inherent contradictions by the tonne.......
 On the one hand you have a Chennai based medical student who satanically hurls a five month old dog from the terrace of a multi storied building and on the other you have a childless Hubbali (Karnataka) based couple who spare no effort to immortalise the memory of their recently deceased pet dog.......
 Govindrao and Triveni Ingalgi; the childless couple in question consciously decided to perform the "tithi" or memorial service of their beloved pet dog Pinto On July 16; 2016 as they always believed that Pinto was none other than the much sought after son that the almighty was kind enough to bestow on them.......
 A tearful and seemingly distraught Triveni haltingly narrates the heartening tale about Pinto having been an integral and inalienable part of their family for the last 13 and a bit years and that the couple is woefully struggling to come to terms with it's departure for it's heavenly abode........
 She also goes on to narrate how they lavished more than their fair share of love and affection on the apple of their eye; bathed it with due affection and fawning care every single day of it's life and fed him nothing but the choicest delicacies twice a day........
 "Pinto was a gentle and kindred soul who never ever hurt even a fly an emotional Govindrao gushes every single person residing in our locality loved him without exception and more than two hundred people joined us in his funeral procession which culminated with his burial in a local graveyard exclusively meant for the human species".........
 "We have also placed an order for a marble gravestone carrying a life sized picture of Pinto and will install or then raise the same at his final resting place once the same is delivered to us within the next few days and will place fresh flowers on the same as often as we possibly can".........
 "Furthermore we distributed school bags; books; pencils; erasers; water bottles and tiffin boxes to thirty children belonging to underprivileged or then economically weaker families on Pinto's "Tithi" and will repeat the same gesture on our son's death anniversary as long as we live" a shattered Govindrao signs off......
 Like I said earlier our motherland is certainly a land of stark contrasts and differing personalities........;
