TRUE LOVE TRANSCENDS ALL MAN MADE BARRIERS..........

He is a welcome; timely and inspiring lesson for all those folks who have forsaken honesty and humanity in a misplaced attempt to achieve material success through any means whatsoever........
Here is a tale of love; honesty; and humanity that has transcended all the human created/made barriers of caste; creed; religion; nationality; language and last but not the least economic disparities.........
One has witnessed and read many a tale about gullible and believing people being led astray by conniving and conspiring folks who posted fake profiles and photos of themselves thereby duping many a honest soul of the last vestiges of humanity vested in him/her but then there are always exceptions to the contrary as the following heart warming and inspiring saga proves.......
An Ahmedabad based 21 year old slum dwellers brutal honesty and innate ability to tell the stark and somewhat desolate truth about himself notwithstanding the possible consequences of his actions ended up netting him his American lady love but also resulted in his marrying the woman of his dreams........
In a day and age where fake and embellished profiles rule the roost; 21 year old Hitesh Chawda a class twelve pass orphan who has inhabited a humble and nondescript tin roofed shanty for the best part of his life showed the exemplary and noteworthy courage to not only share the rather startling realities of his arduous and painstaking life with his American based 41 year old facebook friend Tammy a Montana based health co-ordinator who was so taken by his honesty and ability to tell the truth about himself no matter what the she left her homeland and cushy job to unite with him in holy matrimony and spend the rest of her life with him in these none too pleasant surroundings........
Hitesh and Tammy befriended each other through a series of endless chats through facebook messenger and ultimately fell in hopeless and eternal love with each other as a welcome consequence of the same; Tammy who was somewhat wary of being fooled and left to fend with the pain and ignominy of a broken heart asked Hitesh to upload pictures of his home and surroundings to prove his honesty and depth of feelings for her..........
Lo and behold she was utterly taken by surprise when he posted numerous pictures of the two 5X5 and 10X10 tin roofed rooms that he occupied in Ahmedabad's Amraiwadi chawl and his rather dingy; desultory and none too congenial surroundings; he also brought to her notice the facts that he had only studied upto class 12 was an orphan; virtually penniless and took recourse to a series of odd jobs whenever they became available in an effort to keep his body and soul.........
So overwhelmed and impressed was Tammy with Hitesh's simplicity; honesty and sheer absence of duplicity that she decided to spend the rest of her life with him notwithstanding the fact that his home did not have air conditioning and a rather ramshackle though functional refrigerator was his only earthly possession that could provide her with stray crumbs of comfort and succour.........
She also chose to overlook the 20 odd year age difference that existed between the two of them and Hitesh's rather crude and colloquial English that made her laugh mellifluously and brought the occasional tear to her twinkling and absolutely besotted eyes..........
"Yes it is true that Hitesh does not have money and cannot provide me with the material comforts and amenities that I had grown accustomed to during the course of my life in America; but money cannot buy true; eternal and unrequited love that lasts till eternity and beyond"........
"I have more than grown accustomed to Hitesh's none too grand "palace"; adjusted and adapted to the squalor and din that have more or less become my constant companions ever since I marries Hitesh in a temple and Chottila a few weeks back and have applied for our marriage to be registered under the Special Marriages Act in compliance with the laid down law of my husband's beloved country"............
"Yes; I have also mastered the art of making round chapatis; dhokla; farsaan and other dishes that my beloved husband likes and savours after our wedding and will soon be making one last trip to the USA to settle pending matters pertaining to the disposal of my material acquisitions and such other related issues but return within the batting of an eyelid and settling down for good in Surendranagar's Pansera village where my beloved husband was born and wants to spend the rest of his life"..........
"The two of us will eke out our living with me selling local farsaan and Hitesh raising crops on the two odd acres of agricultural land that Hitesh inherited from his long deceased parents during the first four years of his life or so" Tammy signs off with a sigh and all revealing look at the man of her dreams.........
Love; or then should I say pure; sublime and eternal love does exist in these rather turbulent; self serving and utterly materialistic times and Tammy and Hitesh are a living and breathing example of the same.........
