"GOLDEN KELA" AWARDS ANNOUNCED..........

Now here is one honour/distinction that the Shahrukh/King Khan and Rohit Shetty duo could have certainly done without........
The Rohit Shetty helmed and Gauri Khan produced "Dilwale" that reunited the iconic King Khan Kajol Devgn jodi after five long and tumultuous years was named the worst film of 2015 at the "Golden Kela" (India's answers to Hollywood's "Razzies" at a glittering (??????) ceremony held in Mumbai on Sunday evening........
Thirty year old Sonam Kapoor who has been on constant high post the unprecedented and wholly unexpected of her last venture "Neerja" was brought crashing down to terra firma when she bagged the worst actress award of 2015 for her over the top acting and garish costumes in Sooraj Barjatya's box office triumph "Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo".........
Sonam should not take matters to heart as she was joined by her director Sooraj Barjatya who ended up annexing the worst director of 2015 title for his yeoman efforts at directing this meaningless and directionless so called family saga that went on for eternity and was also bestowed with the first "Bas Ab Aur Nahin" award for his noteworthy directorial venture.........
Sooraj Pancholi who has been exulting and preening as he swept all the most promising debutante of the year awards at most major award ceremonies however saw all the castles that he had built in the air regarding his bright and sparkling future come crashing down to the ground with a resounding crescendo as he ended up receiving the worst male actor of the year award bettering his other nominated counterparts like Arjun Rampal; Arjun Kapoor and Imran Khan to name just a few........
Noted Director Vikas Bahl who boasts of a "Queen" to his credit marked his presence at these awards with the one of it's kind "Baawra Ho Gaya Hai Ke" award following the desultory and laughable box office collections of his second directorial venture "Shaandaar" that is reportedly causing Shahid Kapoor sleepless nights till date while the worst remake of the year award went to the self styled "Godman" Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singhji "Insaan" for his misplaced and misogynistic effort at promoting his version of "Insaaniyat" through the sequel to his equally senseless and nonsensical venture "Messenger of God part I and II" which only succeeded in making sense to him and his partners in these cinematic masterpieces that would be remembered for decades to come..........
Other note worthies like Randeep Hooda; Sonakshi Sinha; and last but not the least Sanjay Leela Bhansali also won awards in various other categories thereby bringing down the curtain on the glittering award ceremony that has made recognising and rewarding the worst of Hindi cinema it's express purpose and the sole motive behind it'e exalted and celebrated existence........
