Vijayawada (Andhra Pradesh) police sleuths on Saturday arrested a middle aged father on the heinous and grave charges of continually raping or sexually assaulting his minor daughter for a little over a year as she had supposedly committed the cardinal sin or error of falling in love with a boy from the neighbourhood.........
According to the investigating officer; B.Subba Rao (the main accused) who happens to be an auto driver by profession had habitually taken to administering iron (sleeping pills or sedatives) pills to both his unsuspecting and gullible wife and daughter and then perform the deplorable act when his daughter was under the influence of the so called "iron" pill/s..........
Allegedly enraged and infuriated with his daughter's temerity and gall (unpardonable act of falling in love with a local boy or then boy from the neighbourhood); Rao firstly put a premature end to educate herself and add some substance to her otherwise mundane life by steadfastly refusing to fund her education beyond the SSC (class ten) level and thereby made her sit at home twiddling her thumbs for the last two years or so.........
An allegedly paranoid and overtly suspicious Rao always used to keep his daughter under observation and decided to teach her a lesson that she would never forget by continually sexually assaulting her for brining untold shame and misery on the family by supposedly falling in love with a boy despite her father's objections.........
Rao contacted a compounder friend in a government hospital who gave him the demonic and devilish idea of giving both his wife and daughter these "iron" tablets every night after dinner and impressing upon the duo the fact that these "iron" tablets would provide them with added; vim; vigour and thereby substantially improve the overall quality of their life............
Rao also took to soundly admonishing his distraught daughter who continually complained of bodily discomfort and pains in her abdominal area in the presence of her mother after waking up in the morning and openly ridiculed and berated her for imagining illnesses; aches and pains despite her father spending a veritable fortune on the said "iron" tablets...........
Lurking suspicions in the wife's mind about her husband's (accused's) irregular and seemingly eccentric sleep patterns and nocturnal night time habit's; the victims mother stopped taking these tablets three days ago since Thursday and caught her husband in the act on both Thursday and Friday; she repeatedly admonished her errant husband and threatened him with the threat of disclosure.........
Summoning up all her underlying vestiges of courage and valour; the accused's wife made her way to the neighbouring police station with her long suffering daughter in tow on Saturday (November 1, 2014) morning and lodged a formal written complaint against her deviant husband who did not pay heed to her admonishments and continued to rape his daughter with impunity and disdain.........
Acting with surprising agility and alacrity; the Vijayawada police sleuths firstly proceeded to register the victim's complaint against her very own father and sent her to a government run medical facility for further examinations while a team expressly constituted for the purpose managed to nab the accused on Saturday evening while in the act of driving his auto in the heart of the city..........
Cases under all the relevant and applicable sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) have since been registered against the accused and he has been reprimanded to police custody until November 14 by a judicial magistrate...........
