I for one can more than vouch for the irrefutable fact that I have most certainly not heard of a more devilish and demonic father in the recent past.......
A Palam (national capital based locality) based young girl who reached home a mere forty five minutes or so after her appointed curfew time after a visit to her maternal aunt's Raj Nagar based abode was subjected to the most heinous and diabolical form of punishment by her fugitive father a week or so back........
According to the written complaint filed by her distraught and disbelieving mother at the Palam police station the young woman's father who was incensed and infuriated beyond all human limits set upon her with a vengeance as soon as she set foot through the door of her afore mentioned modest dwelling on the fateful September 11 night brandishing a menacing looking knife and mercifully stabbing her repeatedly before his maniacal fury dissipated somewhat........
Thank the good lord for his tender mercies as he fled the crime scene after locking and securing the front door and leaving his not so mortally wounded daughter behind to fend for herself and tend to the innumerable though shallow injuries inflicted upon her by the very same man who sired her........
She was locked up within the dark; desultory and claustrophobic confines of her solitary prison for the next five days or so before she somehow managed to make good her escape through a ventilator through which she somehow or the other managed to squeeze through with the greatest of difficulty........
A dumbstruck and disbelieving neighbour who chanced upon her in this pitiful and disheveled state firstly proceeded to inform her mother who was the family's sole bread winner and had been residing at the garment factory where she was employed for the last week or so as she was performing two eight hour back to back shifts in an order to supplement her paltry and meagre income......
The trio then proceeded to file the said complaint against the absconding father against whom the police sleuths lodged attempt to murder; wrongful confinement as well as intent to cause grievous harm cases and launched the now stereotyped and much abused "manhunt" in their umpteenth farcical and comic attempt to nab an accused at the earliest........
With sorry apologies for fathers like this abounding the entire expanse of planet earth whoever needs enemies and foes.......
