Dashing and dapper Pakistan batsman cum part time wicket keeper Umar Akmal is the latest cricketer to have realised that a seemingly trivial error can lead to your being trolled and mercilessly ragged on your twitter handle and how........
Akmal who inadvertently posted a message on his twitter handle congratulating the Indian Premier League Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper David Warner for having annexed the much coveted "PSL" instead of IPL title in the wee hours of May 30;2016 certainly did not expect the derisive and disparaging remarks that came his way.........
Akmal realised the blooper/gaffe made by him some two hours or so after posting the same on his twitter handle and tried to redeem matters by deleting the same but twitteratis who had already laid their eyes on the same ended up taking sarcastic and caustic digs at him; a few of which read as follows........
"Ye Bangkok waala chashma utaar kar duniya ko dekh le Bhai; 2016 chal raha hai ab"; "Bhai; congratulate kar le par IPL ko PSL se compare karne ki bhool mat kar"; "@davidwarner31 ki price pure Pakistan ki GDP se kahin zyada hai" and many more such gems and nuggets to quote just a few........
Akmal who later posted a statement stating that he had gotten his hash tags in a tizzy and erroneously ended up using the Pakistan Super League one; "der aaye darust aaye"; but Akmal must surely must be much chastened and that much more wiser man having realised that the minutest of errors on twitter does not end up escaping public scrutiny and making you the butt of almost every twitteratis sparkling and condescending wit......
