Beware the raging storm enmeshed in a spurned/scorned lover's or then suitors heart as the same could have deathly consequences........
A newly married couple found this dictum to not only be true but deadly as well as the 19 year old bride's former suitor who could not reconcile to the fact that his supposed lady love had callously spurned his romantic overtures and decided to spend the remainder of her natural life with another male whom he despised and detested.......
According to the case's investigating officer the macabre incident occurred on the fateful night of May 1;2016 a mere week or so after Angoora Devi (19) and her 20 year old lawfully/legally wedded husband had just finished the last morsel of a sumptuous dinner dished out by her doting mother during her customary visit to her maternal home as per long standing/age old Hindu traditions and rituals........
The couple's romantic/idyllic and tranquil world literally collapsed around it's knees when the bride's so called one time "dream lover" unceremoniously barged into the bride's sprawling Shahjahanpur (Uttar Pradesh) home brandishing a menacing looking dagger and vent his pent up frustrations and angst through a stabbing spree which left Angoora Devi in a critical condition and her husband of ten days standing battling for his life with grievous injuries.........
Doctors attending on them at the local government hospital held out the lifeline that the 20 year old groom's injuries though severe were not life threatening and he would recover from his trying ordeal over the next few weeks or so though the same could not be said about the critically injured Angoora Devi as she had borne the brunt of her self styled lover's demonic rage and that the next 72 hours would all but determine her longevity on planet earth during the course of this lifetime..........
As is customary in all such cases; the local police sleuths have registered a case under section 307 (attempt to murder) of the Indian Penal Code against the main accused 21 year old Manoj Gupta and simultaneously launched a massive manhunt in an attempt to apprehend him at the earliest.........
One wonders when primitive;savage and hedonistic Indian men will learn or educate themselves about the fact that when a woman says "no" she really means the same unequivocally and unambiguously and also that women are not puppets to dance to their ungainly and hideous tunes as and when they please........
And for all those who continually cry themselves hoarse about the universal need to radically change misogynistic male mindsets; may I ask what they have done to change the murderous mindsets of the above mentioned Manoj Gupta and others of his ilk?????
