MITCHELL JOHNSON RULED OUT OF SYDNEY TEST.........



Beleaguered members of team India must be thanking both their lucky stars as well as the almighty in equal measure as the news about Aussie pace bowling spearhead Mitchell Johnson missing out on the Sydney Test beginning January 6 begins to hit the headlines........
Mitchell Johnson has been ruled out of the fourth and final Commonwealth Bank Test against India owing to a recurrent hamstring injury that flared up again during the course of the recently concluded Melbourne Boxing Day test that ended in a honourable stalemate (draw).........
Mitchell Johnson could not take the field with the rest of his team mates for the training and net sessions held on Saturday and Sunday at the Sydney Cricket Ground owing to the above mentioned injury and Aussie physiotherapist Alex Kountouris did indeed confirm that he would miss out on all the action of the fourth test owing to soreness; stiffness and a slight swelling in his right hamstring........
Kountouris however exuded confidence about the 33 year old speedster being roaring fir before the start of the One Day International Tri-Series featuring the Australian; English and Indian ODI teams; beginning January 16 after a week long rest that should more than take care of the soreness he felt during the course of the third test match........
"Mitchell Johnson is an integral part of our World Cup 2015 squad and plans and me and the rest of the team management will be working overtime in order to ensure that he is fighting fit and raring to go well before the World Cup gets underway on February 14; Kountouris signed off........
