In a heart rending and humanity defying incident a 60 year old deaf and mute woman was sexually ravaged by two notorious characters belonging to a Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh) district village late on Sunday evening.........
According to the devastated husband of the doughty survivor she had gone to answer nature's call in the adjoining fields on the fateful evening when she was set upon by these two monsters masquerading as human beings........
These despicable and dastardly characters forcibly led the woman to a dark; desolate and deserted spot where they fell upon with animal like ferocity and barbaric intensity; they ravaged; savaged and defiled the woman and then made good their escape from the spot..........
Copiously bleeding from the various injuries inflicted all over her anatomy by her tormentors and torturers; the 60 year old woman somehow managed to wend her way towards her home and hearth where she piteously conveyed the tale of her pain and suffering to her disbelieving and incredulous husband and daughter in law through signs and whatever else she could.........
Though aghast at the state of the elderly woman; the husband and daughter in law administered whatever first aid they could to the grievously injured woman and then asked her to lead them to the houses of her tormentors if she could do so.........
Lo and behold the Jhansi Ki Rani like 60 year old woman led the duo to the doorstep of the main accused's home where the mother of the assailant pleaded with them and beseeched them to refrain from filing a police complaint against the apple of her eye........
Sidestepping her pleas and entreaties with the disdain and contempt they deserved the trio proceeded to the area's police chowki and duly registered their complaint with the senior most police official who was on duty at the time.........
Swinging into action with remarkable alacrity and agility; the police personnel firstly proceeded to admit the 60 year old woman to the district government hospital and then successfully managed to nab the two assailants within two hours of the complaint being registered against them.........
Cases have been filed against the duo under all the relevant and applicable sections of the Indian Penal Code and they are being subjected to intense questioning in order to ascertain whether or not they were guilty of having committed such heinous crimes in the past...........
Now you go ahead and decide the quantum of punishment in this gruesome incident that gives humanity a bad name..........
