HERE WE GO AGAIN........

As if Messrs Pahlaj Nihalani and company were not enough of a headache and eyesore to cope with and endure; the producer and director of the forthcoming Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer "Haraamkhor" are currently pitting their wits with self appointed guardians of morality and "Indianness" who have been issuing death threats et all on all available avenues and mediums......
Duly catching their breath after a prolonged; haranguing; harrowing and draining eight month long battle with the folks that man the infamous and lambasted Central Board for Film Certification (CBFC) and ardently awaiting the nationwide release of their labour of love in twelve odd days or so Messrs Monga (producer) Shlok Sharma promising and upcoming new director on the block) now find themselves caught between the devil and the deep sea ever since the trailer of the film hit the limelight five or so odd days ago.........
According to a seemingly distraught and disbelieving Ms. Guneet Monga lamented the fact that her e-mail inbox; twitter and facebook accounts have been inundated/deluged by spite ridden and utterly distasteful messages questioning the very need and necessity to make films that show the nation in a "bad light" and cause undue harm to age old laid down social mores; customs and supposedly sacrosanct practices........
Elaborating further Shlok Sharma the director of this thought provoking and supposedly provocative venture that revolves around a supposedly indiscreet; forbidden; incestuous and prohibited relationship between a thirty odd year old school teacher and his 14 or 15 year old student (a character adroitly enacted by the more than capable Ms. Shweta Tripathi) and hence they have at the receiving end of both implied as well as particularly graphic and morbid death threats that hold out the implied threat of cutting short the life and times of all those out to poison and pollute the seemingly "pristine and puritanical/revered" Indian culture and traditions.......
Almost at their wit's end both Messrs Monga and Sharma quip "que sera; sera what will be will be"; we silently endured the ignominy and travails of an exacerbating and taxing eight odd month long battle with the CBFC withlout making much ado about the same and will wait till the very last minute before approaching the law enforcement agencies as well as courts in order to expedite the timely and ordained release of the film as any further postponements would only cause untold damages and financial implications that cannot be borne by us as we neither have the means nor wherewithal to endure yet another prolonged and utterly pointless battle/skirmish......
Freedom of expression; right to freedom of speech and so on and so forth; do these constitutionally bestowed and guaranteed rights really exist to begin with??????
