Will somebody do the needful and smash this brigand/vigilantes face/visage to smithereens.......
I for one can understand the angst/chagrin and simmering frustration at being denied access to your own hard earned money despite sagely waiting in queues for hours on end having been at the receiving end more than once; but does this chastening and wisening experience give you the right to take the law into your own hands?????
Well; this irate/incensed/infuriated and crazed Ahmedabad based gent certainly thought so and got more than he bargained for as an result or then natural corollary of his illegal and inexplicable actions.......
Long term Khokhra (Locality in Ahmedabad) resident Satish Patel ended up committing the dastardly; demonic; despicable and deplorable sin of vandalising the glass door of a nationalised bank branch in his locality when the same shut shop at ti's pre ordained 4 pm......
According to the chagrined and concerned assistant manager; the concerned authorities took a conscious decision to down the shutters of the bank at the scheduled 4 pm on Wednesday evening as they had exhausted their allotted cash chest or reserves for the day.......
Their perfectly logical and legal actions however got the goat of Patel who vented his pent up frustration and consternation by smashing the glass screen of the door into smithereens with his bare fists while other denizens of the area watched in amazement and bewilderment as they had also been denied the opportunity of laying their hands on their own funds and resources despite braving the elements for two hours and more a la Patel......
Local police personnel who were summoned to the spot by bank officials promptly arrived on the scene and took the offender into their custody......
They then proceeded to register a case against the vigilante under the relevant and applicable sections of the IPC and produced the gent before a judicial magistrate who remanded him to seven days of judicial custody......
Patel who is currently cooling his heels as well as ardour in the city's central jail and pondering over the long term consequences of a fleeting moment of insanity and mayhem.......
