King (Shahrukh) Khan certainly knows how to wow his legions of fawning fans with his fawning love; care and undivided attention.....
True to his nature and predicament; Khan who will be next seen sharing screen pace with the dimunitive and beguiling Alia Bhatt in Gauri Shinde's much anticipate flick "Dear Zindagi" decided to reach out to some of his "Special" fans on the joyous occasion of Diwali and add the much desired sparkle and luster to their otherwise mundane and chequered existences.......
Shahrukh spent a little more than four hours in the august company of acid attack survivors Reshma; Mamta; Sapna and Basanti on a typically balmy Mumbai Friday evening and duly/promptly recorded his observations on the same through his plethora of social media accounts by expressing his heartfelt gratitude and humility on being accorded the opportunity of being allowed to spend quality time in the company of these valiant; unconquerable and irrepressible souls who can more than teach the best of us a lesson or two about forebearance and fortitude......
He also went out of his way to express his sense of gratitude and thankfulness/indebtedness to the makeluvnotscars social initiative or organisation that organised this coming together of Shahrulh and four of his avowed and loyal fans who defy all man made barriers of caste; creed; religion;physical disability/infirmity and the like.......
Describing the memorable event as a new beginning; dawn; era; unforgettable evening that will go down in memory so on and so forth; the uncrowned King of Hindi filmdom swore to spend much more time in the company of these souls who motivated; rejuvenated and inspired him in his effort to give back whatever has been bestowed on him with renewed interest........
One only hopes that the Bachchans; Kapoors; Khans; Johars and Akhtars of the world take a leaf out of Sharukh's notable book in their misplaced and meaningless efforts to reach out and make a difference where it is most needed.......
