Mumbai based Aam Aadmi Party leader Preeti Sharma Menon filed a written complaint against the accused Mr. Bhattacharya at Mumbai Police's Cyber Cell accusing him of using provocative; insulting; obscene and improper language against a Delhi based female journalist on a social networking site as well a prominent social medium on July 15; 2016.........
Enraged beyond words at Ms. Menon's guts and gumption; this mentally unbalanced crooner publicly berated her by showering her with the most indecent and derogatory abuses and profanities on the very same social networking site which goaded the indomitable and irrepressible Ms. Sharma Menon to file a second complaint against the delusional Abhijit on July 16; 2016.........
One may recall the fact that this gent had also stirred up a hornet's nest by his intemperate remarks against Mumbai's hapless and forlorn pavement dwellers and squarely and unequivocally blamed them for being crushed to death under the unforgiving and deathly wheels of one Salman Khan's SUV as well as termed a Chennai based techies slaying at the Nungambakkam metro station as a case of so called "love Jihad"..........
A Delhi based female journalist who raised pertinent and relevant questions about the crooner's mental acumen and regressive mindset was branded as a (I for one would not want to repeat the terms and words used by Abhijit) as they are simply to obscene and offensive to be repeated on a public forum and the same spurred Ms. Sharma Menon to file the above mentioned complaints against him.........
Taking due cognisance of the two complaints filed against him the Mumbai Police sleuths have filed cases under sections 500 (punishment for defamation); 509 (usage of gesture; word language or act intended to outrage the modesty of a woman) as well as section 67 of the Information Technology Act and the singer could be looking at the unsavoury prospect of being ensconced in a dark; dingy and desultory prison cell for a minimum two year period if the Mumbai Police conclusively manages to prove the charges or then the cases filed against him.........
