At long last here is one flick that is sure to keep you mystified; horrified; spellbound; mesmerised and enthralled long after you have finished seeing and minutely dissecting it.......
Director; Actor; Choreographer Farah Khan's husband Shirish Kunder who was better known for his uncanny ability to brush people who matter the wrong way and unintentionally hilarious tweets has more than redeemed and re-established himself as a film maker of some substance and potential with his nineteen minute edge of the seat psychological thriller "Kriti".........
"Kriti" which is more than adroitly written; directed and cinematographed by Kunder himself stars the uber talented and multi faceted genius Manoj Bajpayee; one of the country's best actresses Radhika Apte and the up and coming Neha Sharma in the three lead roles in this roller coaster ride that leaves you gasping for breath as it unravels it's rather eerie and macabre tale about a gent who supposedly imagines the presence of his long lost woman of his dreams (Neha Sharma) in every living moment.....
Ms. Apte more than capably plays the role of Manoj's friend; confidante and psychiatrist; counsellor who is almost going round the bend in an effort to convince him that the imagined presence of the love of his life is nothing more than a figment of his love starved imagination........
While the underutilised and hitherto neglected Neha Sharma gives all the Hindi film industry's directors more than adequate notice of her potential and capabilities as an actress as the elusive; mysterious and alluring "Kriti" who is afflicted with a largely psychological malaise called "agoraphobia" (the fear of one's surroundings)..........
Is "Kriti" indeed for real or then purely a product of Manas's (Manoj Bajpayee's) over active imagination and last but not the least does Kalpana (Radhika Apte) succeed in her untiring and unstinting efforts to cure her best friend of his affliction; well you will have to wait ans see this 19 minute long spell binder as and when it becomes available on you tube; and such other mediums where it is already doing the rounds........
