Pyaar tune kya kiya; hai pyaar tune kya kiya; the heinous; macabre; sinister and hazardous head of love reared it's grotesque head again late on Saturday night (close to midnight) and how.......
In an incident right out of the pages of Ripley's Believe it or not manual; a supposedly jilted; rejected; dejected and disconsolate 16 year old morose Devdas stabbed his 14 year old love of his life (Paro) before surreptitiously making good his escape from the crime scene........
According to disbelieving neighbours and the girl's family neighbours; the youth who was relentlessly pursuing the 14 year old grievously injured girl for the best part of the last 6 months and more and exercising relentless pressure on her to profess and declare her undying love for him in no uncertain terms........
Matters however came to a head on the fateful Saturday night when the murderous Devdas called his lady love to the terrace of her dwelling and once again began imploring and beseeching her to profess her love and devotion for/towards him; but then pulled out a meat cleaver and stabbed her when she put her foot down and asked him to take a hike........
Incensed beyond belief; the 16 year old offender took recourse to assault amounting to murder and fled from the spot before the dismayed girl's family members could react to the alarming situation and nab him before he made good his escape from the crime scene.......
The victim was immediately rushed to the nearby government run Loknayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital where the doctors performed a minor surgery on her in the early hours of Sunday morning and her condition is slated to be out of danger at the present time........
An attempt to murder case was registered against the absconding 16 year old "jilted" lover at the national capital's I.P.Estate Police Station early on Sunday morning by the victim's family members and the police have since launched a massive manhunt to nab him at the earliest........
Police also resorted to intensive and relentless questioning of the meat shop owner where the said youth was employed and his fellow employees and managed to gather considerable information about his native village in neighbouring Uttar Pradesh where he might have fled........
Two police teams were despatched to the native village of the wanted youth on Monday morning and the Delhi Police is more than optimistic about it's chances of nabbing him at the earliest.........
