A 45 year old man certainly succeeded in tainting the unsullied name of a father daughter relationship forever what with him continually raping his minor step daughter for well over a year after drugging his lawfully wedded wife and victim's mother every single night so that she did not throw a fit or catch him in the act.............
What goes around certainly does come around and the law finally caught up with Ajay Kumar, 45 a long term resident of Ludhiana's Chandan Nagar area when his wife and victim's daughter caught him in the act of forcing himself on his step daughter on Tuesday night; an initially startled Ajay soon recovered his wits and pushed his wife away but the alert police personnel who had since been alerted by the victim's mother arrested him while he was making an effort to flee the city for good............
In her written complaint, the victim's mother clearly enuniciated the fact that she had gotten married to the said Ajay Kumar a little over two years ago after divorcing her first husband after 15 years of marriage; she also pointed out the fact that she had two children from her first marriage a 14 year old daughter and 10 year old son who lived with Ajay and her.........
She also went on to say that Ajay used to administer either a drug or sleeping tablets in the glass of milk that she was prone to consuming before going to sleep every single night; wary of Ajay's unwelcome tendencies towards her daughter she managed to outsmart Ajay and literally caught him with his pants down on the fateful Tuesday night........
What took her by surprise and left her aghast was the fact that her lawfully wedded husband of two odd years did not show the slightest signs of remorse but instead threatened to silence both her as well as her children forever if she as much as let out a whimper about his unnatural sexual tendencies, but she did certainly prove to be made of sterner stuff and duly informed the authorities leading to the rapist's arrest.............
Cases under sections 376 (rape) and 506 (threat to life) of the IPC as well as sections 4 and 8 of the POSCO act against Ajay Kumar and he has been remanded to judicial custody up to September 20 by a judicial magistrate who expressed his horror and consternation at the magnitude of the crimes committed by the errant step father............
