An Indian private organisation that specialises in the manufacturing of prosthetic feet/legs has in a gesture that signifies the spirit of universal brotherhood, voluntarily come forward to supply 1,000 such artificial limbs to Afghan citizens who have lost their legs/limbs during the course of the decades long war/strife in the ravaged country.........
Jaipur Foot (the private organisation) has announced that it has formally signed a formal agreement with the incumbent Afghan government and will be supplying 1,000 artificial limbs (prosthetic legs) to 1,000 polio stricken as well as Afghan citizens who have lost their body parts in bomb blasts triggered off by the terrorists who seem to have inundated the war stricken country........
Confirming the long awaited development, a senior Afghani government official confirmed the signing of the agreement and confirmed that Jaipur Foot would initially supply 1,000 such prosthetic feet to such Afghanis who have lost their legs in either roadside bombings, terrorist attacks or then the scourge of polio..........
This will be the first of many more such consignments and the same will be supplied by Jaipur Foot entirely free of cost as a gesture that signifies the age old and brotherly relationship that India shares with it's neighbouring country.........
Not only this, but specialists from Jaipur Foot will soon be making their way to Kabul in order to train personnel in the Disabled Technical Institute in the intricacies of manufacturing such prosthetics on their own so that they can fend for themselves in the long run.........
