When will our two so called national parties learn that the reinvigorated and rejuvenated Aam Aadmi cannot and will not be browbeaten into submission this time around as he has realised that the onus of making a difference and fulfilling his dreams lies with him and no one else........
In the latest cowardly effort to intimidate Aam Aadmi Party's prime ministerial candidate Arvind Kejriwal (who incidentally is the most popular prime ministerial candidate in Delhi according to a CNN-IBN and CSDS opinion poll) stones and bricks were hurled at him and his supporters by a group of a dozen youths or so who were raising the clarion call of Har, Har Modi, Ghar, Ghar Modi at the same time........
This reprehensible, condemnable and downright cowardly incident occurred at around 8 pm or so last night (Thursday night) in the vicinity of the world renowned Banaras Hindu University; according to police sources one of the unruly youths has been thus far identified and apprehended while the rest of them are still at large.........
Mr. Kejriwal was conducting or then undertaking a door to door campaign in Varanasi and had almost wend his way to the renowned Keshav Paan Shop in the Lanka area when this group of incited and rowdy young men happened upon the spot and started hurling stones and bricks at Mr. Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party volunteers accompanying him........
According to eyewitness accounts, the attack seemed to premeditated and well though out, "it seems as if this group of people descended on this spot with the sole aim of disrupting AAP's road show and setting the fear of the BJP and Modi in the hearts and souls of the citizens of Varanasi", one eyewitness said........
According to yet another eyewitness, Keshav Chaurasia, the owner of the renowned Keshav Paan stall was proposed by the saffron party as one of the ten local citizens who would sign Modi's nomination papers and the sight of Kejriwal at the very same spot might have been the immediate provocation behind this inexplicable and dastardly act........
A nonplussed and unfazed Arvind Kejriwal stuck to his line about defeating Modi and Rahul Gandhi at all costs in an effort to safeguard the future interests of our glorious motherland while saying that if anything such attacks only served to strengthen his resolve to put Modi and Rahul Gandhi in their rightful places and restore the lost power back in the hands of the much abused Aam Aadmi.........
When if ever, will the two so called national parties learn that such "jocular' acts will only prove detrimental to their cause, on the one hand Modi talks about carrying all sections of the electorate with him; while Rahul Gandhi repeatedly harps on his commitment to empower people; is this how they will reach out to people and empower them??????
Come on people, wake up and smell the coffee at least now, the two so called national parties only need you as far as ensuring their electoral victory goes and will then discard you like the proverbial fly in a cup of milk; vote for the Aam Aadmi party, the only true repository of the hopes and aspirations of the common man and realise/fulfil your long held dreams in the bargain.......
