CRIME SPREE CONTINUES WITHOUT A CHECK........

Our national capital certainly more than seems to be justifying it's nomenclature of being the crime capital of Asia as more and more Delhiites seem to be falling prey to the avarices and follies of criminals who seem to be getting more daring by the minute.......
A 25 year old man was killed on the spot and his 30 year old elder brother was grievously injured when 5 unidentified gunmen opened fire on them late on Thursday night in the Nand Nagri area of the national capital following a heated argument and fracas that had broken out between them
Mohammed Kayam (25) was lounging right outside his modest dwelling along with his elder sibling Mohammed Imran (30) when they were rudely accosted by the 5 above mentioned assailants who in initially hailed them and showered the choicest of abuses upon them leading to a heated argument..........
Neighbours who were concerned about the ultimate outcome of the heated and increasingly ugly argument and had just about begun stepping out of their dwellings when the 5 men pulled out their guns and fired shots at the brothers from a point blank range........
Initially terrified by the reverberating gun shots, the neighbours summoned up as yet hidden reserves of courage and made a beeline towards the spot in burgeoning numbers, but the unidentified gunmen had made themselves scarce by then..........
Mohammed Kayam and Mohammed Imran were rushed post haste to the nearby Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital where the doctors declared Kayam dead upon arrival while Imran';s condition is slated to be highly critical.......
According to the investigating officer, the brothers who lived with the rest of their family members in Nand Nagri had a long standing land related dispute with their immediate neighbour and the police suspects that the very same neighbour hatched the conspiracy to eliminate them in cahoots with his accomplices........
However, no arrests have been made thus far as the said neighbour is said to be untraceable and the police forces are struggling to establish the identities of the gunmen who murdered one person in cold blood........
A case under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code has been duly registered against the yet unidentified gunmen and 3 police teams have been constituted to identify and apprehend them at the earliest.......
