MURDER IN BROAD DAYLIGHT........

Bengaluru's tall claims to being a haven of peace and tranquility were done irrepairable damage by the dastardly murder of a corporator's husband in broad daylight.......
As C.N. Srinivas stepped out of his stately abode at around 9:20 am on Wednesday morning, four men stealthily kept an eagle's eye on his movements and also surreptitiously followed him when he made his way towards a hair dressing saloon on the Wasim Road area of East Bengaluru's sprawling K.R. Puram area.......
Srinivas reached the saloon at around 9;25 am and wended his way inside the same while his pursuers followed suit at around 9:30 am or so, the only difference being that they hacked the corporator's husband with machetes before making a hasty departure from the hot spot........
The assailants who hacked Srinivas had made their way to R.K. Puram on at least 5 motorcycles and also taken the requisite precaution of covering/obscuring their faces with scarves so that they remained unidentified according to horrified and devastated eye witnesses.......
Local cops who were alerted by eyewitnesses rushed Srinivas to the super speciality Manipal Hospital in a police vehicle; but their efforts proved to be futile as he was declared brought dead by the doctors who attended on him.........
Srinivas 43, a long standing BJP activist and real estate broker by profession was the husband of the Devasandra ward corporator Manjula Devi and the father of two school going children.......
"His daughter's birthday was slated for Thursday and he was all agog with excitement and making all out efforts to celebrate the same in an appropriate manner" his grieving family members said........
Srinivas had earlier survived an almost identical attack on him by miscreants just outside his residence in early 2013; his then assailants who were apprehended by the Bengaluru police are currently out on bail and could be behind this murderous attack according to high ranking police officers.......
"A soured business deal, personal enimity or then attempt to settle political scores with his wife could be the reasons behind this dastardly act; we have rounded up a few suspects and are thoroughly interrogating them and have also constituted two teams under the guidance and supervision of the ACP K.R. Puram division", Bengaluru Police Commissioner Raghavendra Auradkar concluded.........
