PARENTS; TRADERS; PIMPS OR SATAN REINCARNATES.........

Can one really call or refer to this conniving; malicious; diabolical and devious couple as parents/mentors/guardians or any other synonymous term........
A 23 year old Lokhandwala based woman made good her escape from "Hell" (in her own words) late on Wednesday evening and is currently residing with a kindred soul who more than magnanimously stepped forward and gave this tormented soul refuge under her own roof......
 Narrating her tale of woe to high ranking Mumbai police sleuths alluded to her suspicions about her so called "parents" having "bought" her from her "natural" or then the couple who sired her within the first five years of her tumultuous and tortured life........
 "My so called parents forced me into the flesh trade (prostitution) on the day I turned 14; they clandestinely managed to procure my passport through a grubby and usurpious agent from Agra and continually took me to Dubai and other middle east destinations where I was made to perform obscene dances and satiate the perverse carnal desires of sheikhs and other affluent men who could pay my "parents" the price they quoted for my nubile and curvaceous body".........
 She also went on to reveal the sordid and distressing fact that this couple also had at least a dozen or so more "daughters" like her who were between the age of 15-25 and had ensconced or then confined and caged them at various locations spread across the length and breadth of the nation's commercial capital.......
 Senior and high ranking Mumbai Police Officials have taken due cognisance of this doughty and gallant young woman's litany of complaints/grouses against her so "called" parents and entrusted the seemingly onerous responsibility of carrying out an expeditious; exhaustive; thorough; professional and time bound probe to a senior inspector from the crime branch on the basis of the official complaint registered by the indomitable 23 year old woman against her so called "parents" who have surreptitiously disappeared and instructed the investigating officer to take the couple into custody as soon as the investigating team is able to trace their whereabouts........
 "Parents"; "Nurturers"; "Protectors"; "Exploiters"; "pimps"; "agents"; "devils in disguise"; or "satan reincarnates"; well I will let you form your own informed and sage opinions and conclusions about this couple who have certainly given the blessed art of parenting a denomination or form that cannot even be imagined by the most jaded and distrusting minds and souls.........

WILL KOHLI FULFIL KAPIL PAAJI'S PROPHECY?????

Indian cricketing legend Kapil Dev Ramlal Nikhanj seems to be comparing current Indian test skipper Virat Kohli to Superman/Hercules and here's why........
 Kapil Paaji who is an ardent Kohli fan and never misses any opportunity of praising him to the skies recently made a remark/claim that took even the most wizened and die hard cricketing fan by surprise........
 On being queried as to whether any present day batsman could surpass "master blaster" Brian Charles Lara's seemingly insurmountable feat of scoring 400 undefeated runs during the course of a single test innings; Paaji replied by saying that Virat certainly had the talent; determination; ability; technique and wherewithal to do so......
 Buttressing his argument or undiminished cricketing logic the 57 year old Paaji cited the more than impressive 973 runs scored by Kohli during the course of the eighth edition of the Indian Premier League and the masterly 200 runs notched up by him during the course of the first test against the West Indies at Antigua.........
Kohli may not be as supremely talented or gifted as Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar but his uncompromising and punishing work ethic; ability to challenge and surpass himself all the while and last but not the least dedication and commitment towards mastering his craft are the qualities that made this 27 year old who has already notched up 12 test centuries during the course of his fledgling 40 odd test long career stand leagues apart from the rest of the leading batsmen of his generation........
 I for one surely believe that Virat will surely surpass Lara's Himalayan feat in the near future and if naysayers; trollers and doubting Thomases snigger at my words or then laugh at my expense then so be it; the legendary and unparalleled Haryanvi Hurricane concluded........
 Here's hoping and praying that Kapil Paaji's unflinching and unstinted faith in Kohli's cricketing prowess bears fruit as none others than yours truly would be more exultant and euphoric when Virat surpasses this Supermanesque feat........

TWIN BLOWS ALL BUT WRECK SOUTH AFRICAN TEST TEAM.......

In what indeed must come as the biggest blow to a team in limbo; the best batsman in the world (arguably) AB De Villiers was ruled out of the forthcoming two test match series against the Kiwis (New Zealanders) owing to an elbow injury........
 De Villiers who has been a constant fixture in the Protean test team ever since he made his debut way back in 2004 expressed his dismay and consternation on missing out on a test series for the first time in his illustrious career but expressed optimism about his participation in all the future fixtures slated to be held in the last four months of 2016........
 According to the South African team's physiotherapist AB will be laid low for a minimum of six to eight weeks owing to the elbow injury and speedstder Morne Morkel will miss out on a minimum of twelve to sixteen weeks of international cricket owing to a bulging and severely inflamed disc in his lower back........
 Top order batsman and South African T 20 skipper Faf du Plessis will lead the South African test team during the course of the two test match series that is slated to be held on South African soil from August 19 onwards while iconic fast bowling legend Dale Steyn as well as fellow medium pacer Vernon Philander will be making their return to the side after a ten month long hiatus owing to groin; elbow and recurrent back injuries........
 Largely ignored and forgotten bowling all rounder Wayne Parnell will feature in the Proteas test team on account of Morne's enforced absence and will bolster the beleaguered pace attack of the much weakened team.........
 One only hopes and prays that the other members of the South African squad step up to the plate and make amends for the absence of the afore mentioned players as their inability to do so would only lead to a further embarrassment and humiliation after the reverses suffered against the then visiting Englishmen at the beginning of the year.........

JOHN CENA AND VIRAT KOHLI MEET UNDER THE MOST BIZARRE CIRCUMSTANCES........

Well the east and the west do meet under the unlikeliest of circumstances despite Rudyard Kipling's protestations about east being east and west being west and the twain never meeting.......
World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) most identifiable and adored superstar John Cena unwittingly ended up posting current/incumbent team India test skipper Virat Kohli's on his instagram account in an effort to promote the WWE's "Smackdown" franchise of which he is an integral part.......
 Avowed WWE fans may well remember that John Cena was drafted to the Shane Mcmahon managed/run franchise in the recently concluded WWE draft that allocated or then distributed reigning WWE superstars between the entertainment company's flagship three hour weekly show "RAW" and the supposedly inferior two hour weekly segment "SMACKDOWN".........
Cena being Cena took it upon himself to do his bit to promote the franchise or brand that he had come to be associated with and stumbled upon a rather ancient picture or then still photograph of cricketing icon Virat Kohli promoting team India's "bleed" blue jerseys some time ago........
Ardent and die hard Indian cricketing fans may well remember the fact that the multi national sporting brand "Nike" which had outbid the rest of the competition to sport it's logo prominently on team India's jerseys in the shorter versions of the game had not only coined the slogan "Keep Calm And Bleed Blue" but also more than aggressively promoted the same across all relevant and applicable mediums and avenues.........
 Cena who inadvertently stumbled upon a still photograph of Virat promoting the team India jersey not only immediately posted the same on his Instagram account but also prominently sported the meme or slogan "KEEP CALM AND BLEED BLUE" in his earnest and well meaning effort to promote the franchise or brand that he has come to be associated with.........
 On being queried whether he knew who Virat Kohli was and that the meme or slogan posted by him on his instagram account happened to be the team India sponsors "catchphrase"; John candidly and unabashedly admitted that his knowledge about the game of cricket was at best rudimentary if not entirely none existent and that he had latched onto the slogan and Virat's still photograph in his attempt to garner eyeballs for the "Smackdown" franchise that incidentally features the same "Bleed Blue" as it's prominent colour..........
 So the east and west do inadvertently meet no matter however bizarre; unwittingly hilarious or then outlandish the circumstances may be and Kipling can keep muttering obscenities and profanities under his breath every single time that this confluence between two seemingly discordant and dissimilar cultures and forms of entertainment occurs or takes place...........

WHAT PRICE HUMAN LIFE........

Is a piffling tract of land worth more than a priceless and irreplaceable human life??? well the answer to this query would certainly lie in the affirmative if this dastardly incident is any parameter to go by.........
 An age old dispute between two siblings (brothers) took a deathly turn in Badhapur village of Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur district on a fateful and murderous Tuesday night as the elder brother mercilessly and satanically hacked his younger brother to death and fled the scene before fellow villagers could intervene.......
 According to fellow villagers Gangaram (the accused) and Ram Kishan (the deceased or victim) were at loggerheads with each other for the last few years ever since their father passed away a little over five years ago without distributing or parcelling out the six acres or so of ancestral land owned by the family within the village limits........
 Frequent scuffles and squabbles between the two siblings over their due share of the spoils were the order of the day and fellow villagers had to intervene or intercede every single time and separate the two warring brothers who were constantly baying for each other's blood........
 Things however took a turn for the worse at around 7:30 pm or so on the afore mentioned Tuesday (August 2; 2016) night when Gangaram unceremoniously and maniacally barged into Ram Kishan's modest dwelling when he was home alone and proceeded to hack him to death before taking to his heels and making good his escape from the murder scene........
 Fellow villagers who rushed to the spot on hearing sounds of the melee found a grievously injured Ram Kishan lying in a rapidly spreading pool of his own blood and rushed him to the village's primary health centre where the on duty doctor pronounced him brought dead on arrival........
 Police officials from the nearby Akbarpur police kotwali arrived at the primary health centre minutes after being alerted by the village's mukhiya or headman registered a case of murder against the absconding Gangaram and sent Ram Kishan's mortal remains for the legally mandated post mortem to the state government run district hospital........
 Which brings us back to the moot question about the intrinsic value of a seemingly invaluable; priceless and irreplaceable human life........

ON RANDEEP HOODA AND "SARAGARHI"...........

Fresh from his sterling exploits in the heart and gut wrenching "Sarbjit" actor par excellence Randeep Hooda will soon be seen in yet another biopic.......

According to a statement released by sources close to this dapper and strapping actor Randeep will be reprising the valiant; gallant; intensely patriotic and profoundly inspiring role of Havildar Ishar Singh the platoon commander of the 36th Sikhs which is currently better known as the Fourth Battalion of the indomitable Sikh Regiment..........
 Veteran producer/director Rajkumar Santoshi of Andaz Apna Apna; Ghayal; Damini and Phata Poster Nikla Hero fame will be writing/ directing and co producing this hitherto unknown episode from India's illustrious and heroic military history........
 Randeep who has made a name for himself by immersing himself to the hilt and investing his all in each of his onscreen characters/portrayals is undergoing intense and exhaustive physical training under the supervision of former Army commandos in order to beef or then build up his body and get the mannerisms of an infantry man down pat.........
 Santoshi and his production team are currently scouting and finalising shooting locales for this tour de force in Chandigarh; Bhatinda; Wagah Border Area and other international locations where the Indian army personnel fought to their utmost capacity in numerous battles that are the stuff of folklore or then should I say the nation's proud military history..........
 This proposed biopic which has been tentatively titled "Saragarhi (as it is almost exclusively based on the heroic battle of Saragarhi) will go on the floors in the first week of September and is expected to be wrapped up in a marathon hundred day shooting schedule........
 "Saragarhi" will be released to coincide with India's 70th Independence Day in 2017 and add to the patriotic and nationalistic fervour that pervades the nation on and around every August 15th if everything goes as per schedule or then as envisaged by the production house that is pumping in an undisclosed amount into this biopic on the life and times of a largely unsung and almost forgotten hero........

YET ANOTHER SEXUAL HORROR/ATROCITY.........

Will the Samajwadi Party's chief apologist and deflector par excellence once again term this dastardly incident as a political conspiracy being hatched by political adversaries against the incumbent Akhilesh Yadav government.........
 Following on the heels of the macabre crime in which a 35 year old mother and 14 year old daughter were continually sexually ravaged by a group of 15 or so dacoits a mere 80 odd kilometres away from the national capital here comes an incident involving an auto driver his comrade in arms/accomplice and a hapless young woman.......
 This gory and heart rending incident was reported from a secluded and mostly deserted location in Uttar Pradesh's Firozabad district on the fateful evening of August 1; 2016 when the rape survivor boarded an autorickshaw in order to escape being drenched in the heavy rains that were pouring down at the time........
 According to the grievously injured woman's statement that was recorded by local police officials; she had climbed her way into the seven seater auto all by herself and the driver and she were soon joined by another gent whom the driver introduced as his childhood friend.......
 After driving on a metalled road for a good four kilometres or so on a metalled/tarred road; the driver took a detour citing a mile long traffic jam that would considerably lengthen their journey time while they would reach their intended destination within 15-20 minutes or so by this route.........
 Lo and behold; the driver abruptly stopped the auto in a deserted and desolate location and attributed the same to some mechanical problems and then proceeded to drag the screaming; shouting and valiantly fighting woman into the adjoining fields with his childhood friend aiding in the demonic enterprise..........
They firstly registered a few slaps on the face on the face of their victim in an effort to subdue her; and the driver then proceeded to disrobe and sexually violate her while his accomplice held her down and the accomplice exactly replicated the same while the driver held the defenceless woman down........
 They subsequently made good their escape from the spot after threatening the now quivering and bleeding 20 year old woman with dire consequences is she as much as breathed a word about the sordid and pitiful fate that had befallen her........
 Summoning up all her courage and resilience; the grievously injured woman somehow or the other managed to wend her way back to the main road in the dark and a taxi driver who was passing by happened to notice her sorry state and accompanied her to the local police station where she lodged an official complaint against the rapacious duo........
 She was rushed to the district's government hospital by the police personnel and is currently undergoing treatment for the injuries inflicted by her two tormentors on her nether and chest regions; on their part the area police have registered a case of rape and wrongful confinement against the absconding duo and launched a massive manhunt in order to apprehend the fugitives from law at the earliest.........
 The million dollar or then should I say rupee question whether a moribund; procrastinating and highly reluctant government and it's police force swing into action this time around or then continue with their time honoured tradition of deflecting; obfuscating and seeing non existent political conspiracies and machinations as the reason for this surge or deluge of crimes against women of all ages and backgrounds........
